Description
The Drive Chair Patient Alarm 13605 is Drive's pressure-sensitive chair pad and audio alarm, a bed alarm for seniors used on a chair. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This carton is Drive item 13605: chair pad plus the standard alarm. It is not Drive 13603, the magnetic pull-cord alarm. It is not the bed-size pad 13606 unless we order that sibling for you.
Who this alarm is for
This alarm is for a caregiver who needs an in-room audio alert when a person stands up from a chair. Drive's pad connects to the alarm and sounds when weight leaves the pad. It does not hold a person in the chair and it does not replace supervision.
Ask us if you need Drive 13606, the bed-size pad with the same standard alarm, or 13608 / 13609 with the reset-button control.
- Chair pad, Drive 13605
- On/Off, safety alert, low-battery warning
- 9V battery included
How the chair pad alarm works
Drive says the pressure-sensitive pad connects to the audio alarm and alerts a caregiver when the person gets out of a chair or bed. On Drive 13605 the pad in the carton is the chair size. Place the pad on the chair seat. The alarm sounds when weight leaves the pad.
Drive prints a safety alert, an On/Off switch, and a low-battery warning. A 9V battery is in the box. Drive also lists accessory 136DC, an AC adapter, if you would rather run the alarm from a wall outlet.
Drive does not print pad inches or a decibel number on the 13605 sheet.
