Construction and how it works

Drive describes a high-density foam mattress for the bariatric patient, with a solid foam inner core in a one-piece construction. The spec table prints one foam layer. There is no innerspring unit inside. Older page text that called this SKU an innerspring mattress was wrong.

The cover is polyurethane stretch, fluid-resistant, and easy to clean. Drive lists the mattress as latex free. It meets 16 CFR Part 1632 and 16 CFR Part 1633 when used without a foundation. There is no sloped heel section on this SKU.

Drive 15301 is the 42-inch foam for the Drive 15300LW 42-inch bariatric bed. It does not fit a 36-inch Delta deck. It does not fit the 48-inch Drive 15302LW or the 54-inch Drive 15303LW. Those beds take 15310 and 15312.
