Beka Ana Nursing and Care Table

The Beka ANA is Beka Hospitec's wall-mounted nursing and care table. Savaria Patient Care lists it for North America in seven stretcher sizes, each as a fixed or foldable table. Westin Healthcare quotes it, delivers it, and installs it for homes and care rooms in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.

ANA is not the Beka MONA mobile table. MONA rolls on a scissor chassis. ANA hangs from a wall column, so there is no floor frame under the stretcher. Who it is for

This table is for a person who needs a stable, height-adjustable surface for changing, dressing, and everyday nursing, including changing-places rooms. Beka names mobility groups 1 through 5. The stretcher lowers to 400 mm (15.7 in) so a wheelchair can come alongside. We will still assess the person, the wall, and the room with you.

What you get

You get the ANA in the factory code on your quote: the wall column, the padded stretcher in that length and width, the electric lift, and the hand control. A foldable stretcher is included only on the xxx001 codes. Foldable side rails, rail padding, a head part, and a padding colour are quoted with the room.

The column mounts to the wall. There is no substructure under the stretcher, so a child or adult cannot strike a floor frame. The worktop is notched around the column and has a rear end bar. The pad is moisture-proof and wipes clean for disinfection. Lower the stretcher to match a wheelchair or a lift, then raise it to a comfortable working height.

Lengths are 1,000 mm, 1,400 mm, 1,800 mm, and 2,000 mm (39.4 in, 55.1 in, 70.9 in, and 78.8 in). Widths are 800 mm or 1,000 mm (31.5 in or 39.4 in). There is no 1,000 x 1,000 mm code.

Which rooms and transfers this table fits

ANA needs a structural wall. We will check the wall with you before the install date. Once it is up, the floor under the stretcher stays clear for a wheelchair, a shower trolley, or a floor lift. Lower the stretcher to 400 mm for a wheelchair transfer, then raise it to a comfortable working height. If the person can stand for part of the transfer, ask us about a sit-to-stand lift. ANA is the lying surface, not the lift.

If the prescription names MONA, that is the mobile Beka table, not this wall mount. If the prescription names a shower stretcher with a drain, that is not ANA. ANA is the dry wall-mounted nursing table.
