Description
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is AMG and Drive Canada's travel cane for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Drive prints a 250 lb (113 kg) rating, a lightweight anodized aluminum shaft, and a printed size of 31.5 by 15.75 inches (80 by 40 cm).
This is the folding Comfort-Plus, not the offset Comfort-Plus that stays in one piece. It opens when you need it and folds when you do not. A secure strap holds the fold. The Flex-grip tip and a reflective wrist strap come on the cane.
Who this cane is for
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is for a person who wants a folding cane for everyday use, occasional use, or travel, and who stays at or under Drive's 250 lb rating. Families here usually call when they want that fold for a bag or a car seat and they already know the offset Comfort-Plus is a different cane.
Drive writes that the handle is ideal for those with arthritis. That is Drive's sentence, not a diagnosis. Westin does not give medical advice.
- Comfort-Plus ergonomic handle that conforms to the hand
- Folds with a secure strap for travel
- 250 lb (113 kg) aluminum folding cane, not a quad base
Fit and height
Drive's current folding sheet does not print a height range or a click count. Drive does print the Comfort-Plus handle and a size of 31.5 by 15.75 inches (80 by 40 cm) without labelling folded versus open.
Stand upright in the shoes you will walk in, with your arms relaxed. Set the handle at your wrist crease so your elbow stays slightly bent when you hold on. Come into a Brampton or Toronto store if you want that height checked on the floor before you travel with it.
Handle, fold, and tip
This is a folding cane. Drive's Comfort-Plus handle conforms to your hand and helps reduce impact shock transfer. A wrist strap with a reflective patch is included for night-time visibility.
The shaft is lightweight anodized aluminum. Drive prints that a secure strap keeps the cane folded when it is not in use. The Flex-grip tip is engineered for fluid surface contact through the walking motion, and the tread helps absorb impact shock. The matching replacement Flex-Grip tip, item 735-001, is made for 3/4 in (1.9 cm) aluminum cane tubing. Drive also prints that the Airgo Claw standing tip is ideal for folding canes.
Weight and portability
Drive does not print a unit weight on the current folding sheet. The point of this cane is the fold. Drive's own line is open when you need it, folded when you do not, for everyday living, occasional use, and travel. Drive prints a size of 31.5 by 15.75 inches (80 by 40 cm). Drive does not say which figure is the folded pack.
For a 300 lb Comfort-Plus that does not fold, use the Airgo Comfort-Plus Offset Cane.

Folding, offset, or quad
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is the travel cane in this Airgo pair. Stay here if you want the fold and Drive's 250 lb rating. The Airgo Comfort-Plus Offset Cane is the 300 lb sibling that does not fold and uses the wall-grip handle. A four-point base is a different class: the Mobb Small Base Quad Cane or the Mobb Large Base Quad Cane.
Funding help for a cane or crutches in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund standard canes or crutches, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.

Frequently asked questions
How Tall Should A Cane Be?
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane should sit at your wrist crease when you stand upright, so your elbow stays slightly bent. Drive's current folding sheet does not print a height range. We set that height in the shop or at delivery.
Will A Folding Cane Fit In A Bag?
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is built to fold for travel, and Drive includes a secure strap to keep it folded. Drive prints a size of 31.5 by 15.75 inches (80 by 40 cm) and does not label the folded pack. Try the fold on the shop floor against your bag.
Quad Cane Vs Single Point Cane?
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is a single-point folding cane with one Flex-grip tip. A quad cane uses a four-point base that stands on its own. Pick this Airgo if you want the fold. Pick a Mobb quad if you want that four-point stance.
Does ADP Cover Canes?
Funding for a cane or crutches in Ontario depends on the person and the program. Talk to us before you buy. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page and we will point you to the right path for your case.
What Is The Weight Limit For The Airgo Comfort-Plus Folding Cane?
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is rated at 250 lbs (113 kg) on Drive's current sheet. The offset Comfort-Plus sibling is rated at 300 lbs (136 kg).
Is The Airgo Folding Cane The Same As The Offset Cane?
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is SKU family 730-490. The offset Comfort-Plus is SKU family 730-444. They share the Comfort-Plus handle idea and the Flex-grip tip. Only this one folds, and the ratings differ.
What Tip Does The Airgo Comfort-Plus Folding Cane Use?
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane ships with Drive's Flex-grip tip. The replacement Flex-Grip, item 735-001, fits most aluminum canes with 3/4 in tubing. Drive also prints that the Airgo Claw standing tip is ideal for folding canes.
Which Colours Can I Get?
The Airgo Comfort-Plus folding cane is sold by Drive in Blue, Black, Charcoal, Burgundy, and Coral. Use Color to pick the shaft colour we have on the floor. 730-490 is Drive's Blue SKU.
Can I Rent A Cane In The GTA?
Westin Healthcare rents walking aids for short-term needs in the GTA. See the rentals hub and call (905) 451-7743 to check what is on the floor. A rental cane may be a different model than this Airgo.
