What is the EZee Fold 3G Platinum Folding Power Wheelchair 8 Inch CH4080?

The EZee Fold 3G Platinum 8 inch (CH4080) is a deluxe folding power wheelchair rated 150 kg (330 lb), about 27.5 kg, with 8 inch rear wheels, 7 inch frog-leg casters, and up to 18 km on the twin 16 Ah lithium packs. It folds to 13.4 x 27.6 x 29.5 in without pulling the motors off. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets it up across Brampton and the GTA.

Who is it for?

It is for indoor and solid outdoor use: condos, malls, and pavement. Pick the 12 inch CH4085 if you want more tyre and a 21 km pack. Pick the CH4088 if you need a reclining back.

How does it work?

Joystick on either arm. Flip-back arms, removable seat cushion, seat belt, anti-tippers, optional elevating leg rests (sold as a pair for CH4080/CH4085). Extra battery packs can extend range; FDM says one extra pack doubles range. Range still depends on load, surface, cold, and pack age.

Can I add batteries?

FDM states additional lithium packs can double or triple range on the 3G platform. We sell the chair as specified; extra packs are a separate order.

Is this lighter than a Pride Jazzy Carbon?

No. The Jazzy Carbon 27 is a carbon-fibre travel chair around 28 lb without the battery. CH4080 is about 60.5 lb. You buy CH4080 for the 330 lb rating and the fold, not for a 28 lb lift.
