What is the EZee Fold 5G Ultra Light Folding Power Wheelchair CH4070?

The EZee Fold 5G Ultra Light (CH4070) is HPU's lightest folding power wheelchair, rated 100 kg (220 lb) with a 24 V 10.4 Ah lithium pack and up to 21 km on the HPU table. It folds to 16 x 22 x 26.5 in. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets it up across Brampton and the GTA.

Who is it for?

It is for a lighter rider (at or under 220 lb) who lifts a travel chair into a trunk more often than they need a 330 lb 3G. It is not a bariatric chair. RONA's 500 lb sentence is copy from the CH4075 and is refused.

How does it work?

Rear-wheel drive, 4.5 km/h, 8 in rears and 5 in casters. HPU prints two chair weights on the same page: 37.5 lb in the headline and 26 kg (57.2 lb) in the spec table. RONA lists 44 lb and 16.5 kg without battery. We will confirm on a sample rather than pick a silent number. Seat height 35.4 in on that table is taller than the 26.5 in overall height, so we use RONA's 19 in seat height until HPU reprints the row.

Care and warranty

EZee Life limited warranty. Confirm frame years with HPU (not printed on the 5G sheet). Wear items sit outside that table. Keep the lithium pack dry, use the matched charger, and do not exceed the printed capacity. Westin Healthcare can weigh a floor sample when two documents disagree.

Questions people ask

Is the CH4070 a 500 lb chair?

No. The HPU spec table and the RONA spec table both print 100 kg (220 lb). The 500 lb line on RONA is the CH4075 rating pasted into the wrong listing.

How much does it weigh?

HPU's headline says 37.5 lb. The same catalog table says 26 kg (57.2 lb). RONA says 44 lb. Ask us to weigh a floor sample before you plan airline or lift limits.

How does it compare with the 6G?

The 6G (CH4096 / CH4095) is a 300 lb chair with a longer 25 km rating and 10 or 12 inch wheels. The 5G is the lighter-capacity travel chair.
