Description
The Liftup Raizer II is a 150 kg (330 lb) battery-operated mobile lifting chair. Direct Healthcare Group manufactures it. Savaria Patient Care distributes it. Westin Healthcare quotes it, delivers it, and shows you the assembly for homes and care sites in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
This is not a sling floor lift. There is no boom, no hanger bar, and no sling. If the person needs a full-body sling lift from the floor, see the Handicare Carina 350. This is not a sit-to-stand aid for someone already in a chair. If they can sit and take part in a stand, see the Handicare ReTurn or the QuickMove. The Raizer II is the battery chair you assemble around a person who is already on the floor and cannot get up.
Who it is for
This chair is for a person who has fallen, is lying on their back, and cannot get to sitting or standing on their own. The manufacturer writes that one assistant can operate it, and that the work besides a supportive hand is minimal. The person must be fully conscious and able to give feedback during the lift. Stay inside 150 kg (330 lb).
The manufacturer says not to use the chair if the person may have been injured in the fall and that injury cannot be checked, if they are not fully conscious, if motion could worsen an injury, if they have unstable fractures, or if they cannot tolerate the movement. A hygiene cover or a textile must go on the seat if the person is not wearing clothes on the areas that touch the chair.
- Homes, care homes, and hospitals that need a ready chair after a fall
- Community and ambulance teams that carry the two bags to the person
- A person inside 150 kg (330 lb) who can stay awake and talk through the lift
- Sites that can keep the chair charged and book the annual service inspection
How it lifts
Carry the two bags to the person. Place the seat on the floor beside them. Lift the thighs and slide the seat under them. Fit the two identical backrests first, one side at a time, then the four identical legs. Sound and LED cues confirm each click. Fasten the lap safety belt. Support the neck with one hand, or use the headrest that ships on code 107761. Hold the UP button on the remote or the seat panel. The chair only runs while the button is held. It raises the person to sitting or almost standing in 20-30 seconds of motor time, then you move them to the next surface.
Watch the rear legs as they come down toward the floor, and keep the person's arms across the chest. Keep feet together so they do not pass under a front leg. Never lead the belt under the rear legs. If the load is too high, an alarm sounds and you run the chair back down to the floor.
This listing is quote-only. You get the 107761 Raizer II with headrest: the seat and motor unit, four legs, two backrests, the lap belt, the remote, two carry bags, the 15 W charger, and the USB charge cable. A trolley, wall bracket, extra belts, and disposable hygiene covers are quoted separately.
Liftup Raizer II specifications
These figures are for Westin SKU 107761, the Raizer II with headrest. They are not Carina 350 numbers, not ReTurn numbers, and not QuickMove numbers. The manufacturer prints a 150 kg (330 lb) safe working load. Assembled size standing is 25.8 in long, 27.1 in wide, and 48.2 in high. Assembled size lying is 52 in long, 27.1 in wide, and 10.9 in high. The seat itself is 27 in wide, 10 in deep, and 7.5 in high. Total product weight on the current user manual is 31.1 lb (14.1 kg): 20.3 lb for the seat and 10.8 lb for the legs and backrests.
The battery is a LiFePO4 12 V 5 Ah pack. A full charge gives 40 lifts at maximum load, or about 80 lifts at an average load. The 15 W charger fills the pack in up to 6 hours. Ten to 15 minutes on that charger is enough for one lift. A USB cable is also in the kit; a USB full charge takes much longer (about 20 hours). Charge the chair for at least 6 hours before first use, and at least every 6 months. The chair is IP52. Wipe it with a well-wrung cloth. Do not immerse it or flush it with running water. Noise is under 70 dB(A). Expected service life is more than 5 years when the annual inspection is kept.
Do not read a sling-lift working load, a ReTurn rating, or a crank-chair number onto this page.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this lifting chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, check the charge, and show you the bags, the backrest-first assembly, the belt, the remote, and the stop button before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a transfer aid first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our patient lift rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This chair and its bags are oversized compared with small parcel goods. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If it is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
Can I rent a patient lift before I buy?
Westin rents electric floor lifts for room transfers across Brampton and the GTA. See current packages on the rentals hub and the patient lift rentals page. A rental package is a room lift and a sling. It is not this Raizer II.
If you later decide to buy, ask us about the Rental to Purchase First Month Credit program (an active Westin loyalty program). The rentals hub and rental program FAQs have the program rules.
When to use this chair, and which lifts it does not replace
The Raizer II does not take a sling. Support is the seat, the two backrests, the lap belt, and the headrest on 107761. Extra belts can be quoted if the person needs more hold. Disposable hygiene covers (10-pack) can be quoted for shared-use sites.
Use this chair when the person is on the floor, conscious, inside 150 kg, and the job is to get them to sitting or almost standing. If they cannot sit in this chair, or they need a full-body sling from the floor, start with the Carina 350. If they are already sitting and can take part in a stand, start with the ReTurn or the QuickMove. We will match the aid to the room and the person on the quote.
Service, repairs, and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace. The manufacturer asks for a routine annual inspection by a qualified technician. The service light and beep on the seat remind you when that visit is due.
Liftup Raizer II warranty
Liftup's current US user manual offers a two-year right of complaint on spare parts when the chair is registered with the manufacturer. That clause can lapse if the annual inspections are not kept. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What is the safe working load of the Raizer II?
150 kg (330 lb). Stay inside that number for the person plus anything they wear. The same limit is printed on the CE mark on the rear of the seat.
Can one person operate the Raizer II?
Yes. The manufacturer writes that one assistant can assemble and run it, and that the work besides a supportive hand is minimal. The person on the floor must still be conscious and able to give feedback.
How is the Raizer II different from a floor patient lift?
A floor lift such as the Carina 350 uses a boom and a sling to lift a person. The Raizer II is a chair you build around someone already on the floor. It has no sling and no hanger bar. Pick the Carina when a sling lift is the right method. Pick the Raizer II when a floor-to-stand chair is the right method.
How is the Raizer II different from the ReTurn or the QuickMove?
The ReTurn is a rising ladder for a person who can already sit and take part. The QuickMove is a non-powered sit-to-stand aid. The Raizer II starts with the person on the floor and uses a battery to raise the chair.
Does a sling come with the Raizer II?
No. This chair does not use a sling. You get the seat, legs, backrests, headrest on 107761, lap belt, remote, bags, and chargers. Extra belts and hygiene covers are quoted separately.
Who should not use this chair?
The manufacturer says not to use it if the person may have been injured in the fall and that injury cannot be checked, if they are not fully conscious, if motion could worsen an injury, if they have unstable fractures, if they cannot tolerate the movement, or if they weigh more than 150 kg.
How long does a lift take?
Motor time is 20-30 seconds from lying to sitting or almost standing, with the button held. Assembly of the legs and backrests happens first. The manufacturer describes the whole help as a few minutes.
How many lifts do I get on a charge?
40 lifts at maximum load, or about 80 at an average load. Ten to 15 minutes on the 15 W charger is enough for one more lift if the pack is empty.
Is this the crank Raizer?
No. This listing is the battery Raizer II, code 107761, with the remote and the seat-side panel. It is not the crank home chair.
Can I rent this chair before I buy?
Westin rents electric floor lifts for room transfers. See current packages on the rentals hub. A rental package is not this Raizer II. If you later buy, ask about the Rental to Purchase First Month Credit program.
How fast can a purchased Raizer II be set up in the GTA?
Westin's team delivers and sets up purchased chairs across Brampton and the GTA on a scheduled date. Call (905) 451-7743 for the next opening. Same-day delivery belongs to the rental service, not automatically to a purchased setup.
What is the warranty on the Raizer II?
Liftup prints a two-year spare-parts right of complaint when the chair is registered, if the annual service is kept. Westin Healthcare processes the claim. Details are on our service and repairs page.
