Description
The Pride Jazzy EVO 613 Li is Pride Mobility's current Canada-catalog name for the Jazzy EVO 613 series. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is a full-size mid-wheel power chair with a 22 inch base. It does not fold.
Pride rates the chair at 300 lbs (136 kg) and up to 5.1 mph (8.2 km/h). The catalog lead pack is one 25.6V 32.4Ah lithium iron phosphate box. Pride Canada still offers the two 12-volt U-1 sealed lead-acid packs on the same card. Both use a 3.5-amp off-board charger.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who needs a narrow full-size mid-wheel power chair for indoor doors and outdoor thresholds, fits Pride's 16, 18, or 20 inch seat, and is within the 300 lb rating. Families usually call us when a 25 inch chair is too wide for the hallway, or when they want the lithium pack for a lighter total weight.
If you want the 13.75 inch perforated drive wheels and NF-22 batteries of the wider EVO 614, start with the Pride Jazzy EVO 614. If you need 450 lbs, see the Pride Jazzy EVO 614HD. The EVO 613 Li is not a folding travel chair.
- Narrow 22 inch mid-wheel base
- Lithium iron phosphate pack, with U-1 still a Pride factory choice
- Up to 5.1 mph and a 22 inch turning radius
Range, speed, and batteries
On the lithium pack Pride lists up to 17.6 miles (28.3 km) at 300 lbs and 21 miles (33.8 km) at 200 lbs. On U-1 batteries Pride lists up to 14 miles (22.5 km) at 300 lbs and 17.1 miles (27.5 km) at 200 lbs. Pride's footnotes say range changes with rider weight, terrain, and battery condition. Pride Canada says the lithium pack charges in under 8 hours.
Top speed is up to 5.1 mph (8.2 km/h). Lithium is one 25.6V 32.4Ah iron phosphate box at 18.5 lbs, for a 160.5 lb total chair. U-1 is a pair of 12-volt sealed packs, 23.5 lbs each, for a 189 lb total. Pride's brochure prints the lithium pack as not airline approved. Ask us which pack to put on your order.
Portability and transport
The EVO 613 Li does not fold. Pride lists 22 inches wide and 41 inches long with the footrest (35 inches without). The heaviest piece is the 94 lb base. The 18 inch high-back is 48 lbs. Plan on a van, a lift, or an accessible vehicle if it has to travel.
Pride Jazzy EVO 613 Li specifications
These figures are for the Jazzy EVO 613 series (Pride models JEVO613-LI and JEVO613-SLA) sold here under Pride Canada's current card name. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Weight capacity 300 lbs. Top speed up to 5.1 mph (8.2 km/h). Turning radius 22 inches. Width 22 inches. Length 41 inches with footrest, 35 inches without. Ground clearance 3 inches at mid-frame. Drive wheels 13 inch solid. Front and rear casters 5 inch solid. Two in-line mid-wheel motors. Active-Trac ATX. Electronics 40-amp PG GC3.
Pride sells a memory foam high-back in 16 by 16-18, 18 by 18-20, and 20 by 18-20 inches. Seat-to-floor is 19.75 to 21.25 inches. Ask us which size to order. There is no colour or seat picker on this new template yet.
Colours Pride sells in Canada are matte Black, Iceberg Blue, Jazzy Red, Robin's Egg, Sugar Plum, and White. Pride's US brochure omits White. Shrouds are removable matte colour-through pieces.
Do not mix these numbers with the EVO 614 (25.4 inches wide, NF-22, 7 km/h) or with the older Select 6.
Warranty for a Canadian purchaser follows Pride's Canada brochure and the current insert: 5-year limited on the frame, 2-year limited on electronics and drive motors, 13-month limited on U-1 batteries, and 3-year limited on the lithium pack.
Jazzy EVO 613 Li or Jazzy EVO 613
Pride Canada's current card is titled Jazzy EVO 613 Li. The chassis is the same EVO 613 series Westin already lists as the Pride Jazzy EVO 613. Lithium is the catalog lead. The U-1 pair is still a Pride factory pack on that card. They are not two different frames.
Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every chair qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this power chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the joystick and charger before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This power chair is oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
