This roll-style sling is for a person who can take part in a sit-to-stand transfer. Savaria asks for some weight-bearing ability, the ability to grip the boom, and good head, trunk, and hip control. What you get
You get one Roll Style sling in the article on your quote. The body is 100% quilted polyester with detailed stitching. A padded roll sits under the arms. A hook-and-loop chest band closes around the torso, then a heavy-duty side-release buckle locks the waist. Adjustable loop straps hook to each side of the stand aid. A lift is sold separately.
The loops are height-adjustable, so one article can be set for more than one user after a new fit check. Use the same loop position on both sides. After the person is raised a little, check the waist buckle again and tighten if needed.

The Roll Style sling is a loop sling. Adjustable loop straps seat on a loop-type / standard spreader bar or on the boom hooks of a stand aid. It does not use clip fasteners and it does not use Human Care E-clips.

The finished transfer is limited by the lowest rating among the lift, the bar, and the sling. An F500S transfer stays inside 500 lb. We will confirm the bar on your lift before the quote.

How is this different from the Standard or Corset stand-assist slings?
This is the under-arm roll with two combined sizes. The Standard sling is a fully padded, boned-back sit-to-stand sling. The Corset Style has an elasticated back panel and its own M921516 codes. Ask us if the assessment points to one of those cuts.
Can a person who cannot bear weight use it?
Savaria writes this sling for a person with some weight-bearing ability who can grip the boom and who has good head, trunk, and hip control. If the person needs a full-body seated lift, start with the Handicare Universal Sling.
How do I apply it?
With the person seated, open the chest support and place the sling around the back. Bring the arms over the roll. Fasten the hook-and-loop chest band (just under the bust for a woman), then fasten the waist buckle. Hook the matching loops to each side of the stand aid. Check the fit, raise a little, and re-check the waist buckle.
How do I wash it?

Does funding cover a sling in Ontario?
