Description
The Maple Leaf SuperTilt is a Category 5 manual tilt wheelchair. Westin Healthcare configures it in Brampton after an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist writes the prescription. The Ontario Assistive Devices Program lists the 45 degree oval SuperTilt as WM0001111. It is built to order, not pulled off a shelf the same day.
Maple Leaf's current SuperTilt page lists up to 45 degrees of infinite tilt, a steel frame, a standard 250 lb rating with heavy-duty builds up to 500 lbs, a 50 lb chair including armrests, footrests and wheels, and an overall width 9 inches wider than the seat. Standard published seats start at 14 by 16 inches. This is the 45 degree oval SuperTilt, not the 35 degree square frame (WM0001166) and not the LowRider.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who needs a manual dynamic tilt frame because seating parts alone do not keep them upright, and whose therapist has placed them in ADP Category 5. Families usually call us when they want a 45 degree steel tilt, a width-adjustable frame, and a chair that can take a Maple Leaf or Fusion back and a multi-axis headrest.
If the person needs a Power Plus 25 degree dynamic tilt, use the Power Plus Extreme. If they need the higher-tilt Super Tilt Plus, see the Power Plus STP. A transport chair with small rear wheels is a different product.
- A prescribed Category 5 tilt on the SuperTilt oval frame
- ADP code WM0001111
- Up to 45 degrees of tilt on a steel frame
Design and build
The SuperTilt is a steel tilt frame with two-way locking gas struts. Maple Leaf writes that the tilt is infinite up to 45 degrees. The frame width adjusts. Anti-tippers and an adjustable stroller handle ship on the standard chair. Footrests are pin or plug-in. The axle plate moves vertically and horizontally. A single-release dual-cylinder setup holds the tilt.
Frame options on the current page include a heavy-duty package, a power-tilt option, a 12 inch rear wheel inside the frame, an expandable frame, endomorphic back canes, and a recline back. Maple Leaf pairs the chair with Fusion backs, a multi-axis headrest, padded arm troughs, and angle-adjustable footplates when the therapist writes them.

Maple Leaf SuperTilt specifications
These figures are for Westin SKU WM0001111. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use mapleleafwheelchair.ca, not leftover LowRider numbers.
Product-page standard features: seat width 14 to 18 inches, seat depth 16 to 18 inches, seat to floor 13 to 18.25 inches (the brochure spec box prints 13.5 to 18.25). The 2026 ADP form and the brochure also show much wider custom widths. Chair weight 50 lbs including armrests, footrests, and wheels. Overall width is the seat plus 9 inches. Standard occupant 250 lbs. Heavy-duty packages take the chair up to 500 lbs. Tilt up to 45 degrees.
Warranty on the current Maple Leaf page and the brochure: 5 years on frames, 2 years on components and accessories.
Colour, seat width, and seat depth
Use Color to set black, blue, green, orange, burgundy, or gunmetal. Maple Leaf also paints other colours on the 2026 form. Use Seat Width and Seat Depth for the prescribed seat. Maple Leaf's public standard list starts at 14 inches; a 12 inch seat is only for an order the therapist writes as custom.
This chair is built after the assessment. Westin does not ship a default SuperTilt the same day you call.
ADP funding for a Category 5 wheelchair in Ontario
This chair is an ADP-eligible category device. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) pays 75% of the approved price for eligible clients, and clients receiving Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD support can be covered for the full cost. The route starts with an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, who confirms the need and the right category before anything is ordered: a chair bought before approval is not reimbursed. Westin Healthcare works with ADP authorizers and submissions every week, configures the chair to the prescription, and walks you through the paperwork. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to start the conversation.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, set the prescribed seat and tilt, and show you the tilt release, the wheel locks, and the anti-tippers before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a tilt chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date after the chair is built.
If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Frequently asked questions
What does Category 5 mean on this wheelchair?
Category 5 is Ontario ADP's adult manual dynamic tilt class. It is for a person who needs the seat to tilt because seating parts alone do not keep them upright. The 45 degree oval SuperTilt is listed on that table as WM0001111.
Is this the same chair as the Power Plus Super Tilt Plus?
No. Maple Leaf SuperTilt is WM0001111. Power Plus Super Tilt Plus is WM0001040. They are two makers and two ADP codes. Do not treat the names as one product.
Who qualifies for ADP on a Category 5 chair?
You must be an Ontario resident with a valid health card and a disability that needs a mobility aid for six months or longer. An ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist has to assess you before the application. Westin cannot promise that a named person will be approved.
How does the 75 / 25 split work?
For an eligible client, ADP pays 75 percent of the approved price and the person pays 25 percent. Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD can open 100 percent of the approved price. Extra items that ADP does not list are the person's cost. Do not buy the chair before approval if you want that funding.
What is the assessment process?
You see an ADP-registered OT or PT. They confirm the need and the category, then write the SuperTilt configuration with Westin. We help complete the application and submit it. Ontario says it aims to review a mobility application within eight weeks.
Can I try a SuperTilt before it is built?
Come into a Brampton or Toronto store and we will show you a tilt chair on the floor if one is there. A floor chair is rarely the exact seat and colour on your order. The therapist may also arrange a trial through the clinic.
What seat width do I need?
The therapist measures seated hip width. Maple Leaf's public standard list is 14 to 18 inches wide and 16 to 18 inches deep. Wider and deeper seats, including heavy-duty widths, are written on the 2026 ADP form. Use Seat Width and Seat Depth to record the prescribed size.
What is the weight capacity?
Standard is 250 lbs. Maple Leaf writes that heavy-duty packages can take the chair up to 500 lbs. Stay at or under the rating written on your chair.
What is the warranty?
Five years on the frame, two years on components and accessories. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
What happens if ADP declines the application?
Ontario will send a letter with the reason and the appeal path. Do not take delivery against an ADP promise until that letter is in. We can talk through a private-pay order or another frame. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page.
Why is there no price on this chair right now?
A Category 5 SuperTilt is quoted from the current ADP approved amount plus the options on the order. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will quote from the current form before anything is built.
What is included with the SuperTilt?
You get the prescribed Maple Leaf SuperTilt oval frame (ADP WM0001111) with the seat, wheels, arms, hangers, anti-tippers, and stroller handle written on the order. Backs, cushions, and headrests are chosen with the therapist. Westin Healthcare delivers and sets the chair up across Brampton and the GTA.
