Description
The Ki Mobility Rogue XP is a rigid Category 4 wheelchair Ki builds for young riders. Westin Healthcare configures it after an assessment and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. This is a prescription chair with built-in growth. It does not fold, and it is not a same-day cart item.
Ki lists a 10 to 18 inch seat width, a 10 to 20 inch seat depth, a 200 lb rating, and an 11.4 lb transport weight on a 14 by 14 inch frame with no armrests and the wheels off. Rear seat height goes down to 11.5 inches. The frame is 1 3/8 inch tubing. Ki lists the chair as ANSI RESNA WC-19 transit approved. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can fund 75% of the approved price for eligible clients. An assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist comes first.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a young rider who needs a smaller rigid seat than the adult Rogue 2, who will grow in the chair, and who stays within Ki's 200 lb rating. Ki writes it for that age when fit, growth, and a custom look all matter. It is not an adult 22 inch, 350 lb chair.
If the rider needs a 12 to 20 inch adult Rogue with a 275 lb rating, start with the Ki Mobility Rogue 2. If they need 14 to 22 inch or a 350 lb heavy-duty option, see the Ki Mobility Rogue ALX. The rest of the rigid class sits under Type 4 wheelchairs.
- Young riders who fit a 10 to 18 inch seat
- A 200 lb Ki rating and a lower rear seat-height range
- ADP Category 4 after a therapist assessment
Design and build
The Rogue XP is a rigid frame on the same platform as the Rogue 2, in a smaller size with a different back. It does not fold. Rear wheels come off on quick-release axles. The towers sit above the camber tube so the chair is easier to load and there is space under the seat.
Centre of gravity runs on Ki's Dimple Track. Rear seat height is indexed. The wing and caster-angle system squares the casters. Ki lists up to 3 inches of built-in depth growth on the long sling, with no extra parts. Ki also describes a width-growth policy. Ask us how width growth works on a Westin order.
The front end is a fixed footrest. Arms, including a pediatric T-arm and an angle-adjustable flip-up arm, are options on Ki's order. Colour accents sit on the back plates, tower or clamp, and camber tube.
Ki Mobility Rogue XP specifications
These figures are for the Rogue XP as Ki publishes it. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use Ki's current product page, the 2025-02-17 brochure, and the 2025-02-13 user manual. Do not use an older 11.6 lb transport line, an 11 lb complete-chair weight, or a 1 year warranty line.
Seat width 10 to 18 inches. Seat depth 10 to 20 inches. Front seat height 13.5 to 20.5 inches. Rear seat height 11.5 to 20 inches. Camber 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 degrees. Transport weight 11.4 lb on a 14 by 14 inch frame with no armrests and the wheels off. Capacity 200 lb. Transit: Ki lists ANSI RESNA WC-19. Tube size 1 3/8 inch.
Warranty for the original purchaser in North America is the life of that purchaser on the frame and the quick-release axles, and one year on other Ki-made parts. Ki prints an expected frame life of five years. Wear items such as upholstery, tires, tubes, armrest pads, armrests, and push-handle grips are outside that term.
Sizes and how the chair is specified
Seat width, depth, back, camber, arms, wheels, casters, colour, transit, growth, and anti-tips are set with Westin on the Ki order after the assessment. Ki builds 10 to 18 inch widths and 10 to 20 inch depths, including the in-between inches. This chair is built to that order. It is not picked off a shelf.
ADP funding for a Category 4 wheelchair in Ontario
This chair is an ADP-eligible category device. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) pays 75% of the approved price for eligible clients, and clients receiving Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD support can be covered for the full cost. The route starts with an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, who confirms the need and the right category before anything is ordered: a chair bought before approval is not reimbursed. Westin Healthcare works with ADP authorizers and submissions every week, configures the chair to the prescription, and walks you through the paperwork. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to start the conversation.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, fit the rear wheels, and show you the wheel locks, the anti-tips, the growth adjustments, and how the wheels come off before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a rigid chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; a purchased Rogue XP is built to the prescription and delivered on a scheduled date after configuration and ADP paperwork.
This chair is rigid. The rear wheels come off for a car. If it is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Ki Mobility manufacturer warranty
Ki Mobility warrants the frame and quick-release axles against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. Other Ki-made parts are warranted for one year from the first consumer purchase. Ki prints an expected frame life of five years. The term applies in North America. It does not cover wear items, neglect, misuse, a bad install, or going over the weight limit, and it is void if the serial tag is removed or if a modification caused the failure. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What does Category 4 mean on this chair?
Category 4 is the Ontario ADP class for an ultralight rigid wheelchair, under 25 lb, with centre-of-gravity adjustment, quick-release axles, and anti-tips. There is a paediatric high-performance row in that class as well. The Rogue XP is a rigid chair. Ki lists an 11.4 lb transport weight with the wheels off.
Who qualifies for ADP on a Category 4 wheelchair?
Ontario says the person must live in Ontario, hold a valid health card, and need the device for 6 months or longer. An ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist has to assess them before you buy. Income is not part of that screen. We cannot promise that a specific person will be approved.
How does the 75 / 25 split work?
For eligible clients, ADP pays 75% of the approved price and the family pays the remaining 25%, plus anything that is not on the approved order. People on Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD may have the approved amount covered in full. Extras you add after the fact are not part of that split.
What is the assessment process?
The rider sees an ADP-registered OT or PT. They choose the device type and help complete the application. Westin configures the Rogue XP on the Ki order and submits the form. Do not buy or take delivery first. Ontario will not reimburse a chair bought before those steps.
How long does ADP take?
Ontario says it aims to decide on a mobility-aid application within 8 weeks of receiving it. Build time at Ki and delivery in the GTA sit on top of that. Ask us for a current picture when the assessment is booked. We do not quote a guaranteed total.
Can we try a Rogue XP before we submit?
Call (905) 451-7743 and ask what we can show in a Brampton or Toronto store, or at a clinic visit. A custom rigid is built to the order, so a floor chair will not be the rider's exact size.
How should the seat width fit?
Measure the seated hip width and leave a little room on each side. Ki builds 10 to 18 inch on the Rogue XP. Depth is 10 to 20 inch, with up to 3 inches of built-in depth growth on the long sling. Ask us about Ki's width-growth policy on a Westin order.
What is the weight capacity?
Ki lists 200 lb for the Rogue XP. Stay at or under that rating. This is not the 250, 275, or 350 lb figure from the adult Rogue chairs.
Will it go in a car?
The frame does not fold. The rear wheels come off on quick-release axles. Ki lists 11.4 lb for a 14 by 14 inch frame with no armrests and the wheels off. Ki also lists the chair as WC-19 transit approved when that option is on the order. Ask us before you plan to ride in the chair in a van or bus.
What is the warranty?
Lifetime on the frame and quick-release axles for the original purchaser, one year on other Ki-made parts, in North America. Wear items are outside that term. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
What happens if ADP declines?
Ontario sends a letter with the reason and how to follow up, including an appeal. Call us before you pay privately. We will walk through the letter and the other funding routes on the funding page.
Is the Rogue XP the same chair as the Rogue 2?
They share a platform. Ki says they are the same except for overall size and the back. The XP is 10 to 18 inch and 200 lb, with growth and a lower rear seat-height range. The Rogue 2 is 12 to 20 inch and 275 lb. They are separate chairs and separate factory models.
