Description
The Golden cup holder is the universal drink holder for Golden scooters: a clamp mount and a sprung ring that takes a coffee cup, a water bottle, or the insulated tumbler the gallery shows. It is the accessory every scooter owner buys twice, once for the scooter and once as a gift.
What it fits
Golden prints it as the universal cup holder for their scooter line; the clamp opens around an armrest or tiller tube. If your armrest is unusually thick or shaped, tell us the model and we confirm before it ships.
How it works
The ring flexes to grip the container and a drain hole keeps the rain out; the clamp tightens with one hand. Mounted on the armrest it sits beside the hip; mounted on the tiller it sits under the thumb.
Care and common sense
Hand-wash the ring if it gets sticky, and keep hot drinks in a lidded cup on any scooter; a bump at 4 mph is still a bump.
Funding and accessories
Ontario ADP funding is assessed on the mobility device itself, not on add-on accessories, so plan on private payment, an extended health plan, or a Veterans Affairs benefit where one applies. If you are buying a scooter from us at the same time, tell us and we will fit the accessory before delivery so it arrives already mounted. Will it fit a large bottle?
The sprung ring takes bottles and tumblers to about the size shown in the gallery; a one-litre jug is past its honest range.
Where does it mount?
Armrest or tiller tube, wherever the clamp fits and your hand naturally rests. Most riders pick the armrest.
Does it come with the scooter?
It is an accessory, ordered separately; if you are buying a scooter from us, add it to the order and we mount it before delivery.
