Golden Buzzaround Battery Dock

The Golden battery dock is the charging station for Buzzaround EX and LX family battery packs: lift the pack out of the scooter, seat it in the dock, and charge it wherever the scooter is not. For anyone who charges upstairs while the scooter lives in the garage, or keeps a second pack rotated, it is the accessory that makes the routine simple.

What it fits

Golden's price list prints this dock for the Buzzaround GB118, GB119, GB148, and GB149, the EX and LX models with drop-in battery packs. It is not for the GB120 CarryOn family, whose lithium pack and charger are a different system.

How it works

The deck takes the pack the same way the scooter's own bay does: slide it in until it seats, plug the charger into the dock, and the pack charges standing upright where you can see it. The gallery shows the dock empty, loaded, and in use, so you know exactly what arrives.

Care and common sense

Keep the dock indoors on a hard surface, dry, and away from the door in winter. Wipe dust out of the bay now and then; a charging connection that is clean is a connection that lasts.

Funding and accessories

Ontario ADP funding is assessed on the mobility device itself, not on add-on accessories, so plan on private payment, an extended health plan, or a Veterans Affairs benefit where one applies. If you are buying a scooter from us at the same time, tell us and we will fit the accessory before delivery so it arrives already mounted. Will this dock fit my scooter?

It fits the Buzzaround EX and LX battery packs (GB118, GB119, GB148, GB149). If your scooter is a different model, call us with it and we will confirm before you order.

Does it come with a charger?

The dock is the station; the charger you already have plugs into it. If you need a second charger, say so and we will quote one.

Why charge a battery off the scooter?

So the scooter can stay in the car or garage while the pack charges where you live, and so a second pack can rotate: one on the road, one on the dock.
