Description
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion is Ki Mobility's skin-protection and positioning wheelchair cushion with a Hydrolite fluid well for Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The live card prints a 4.5 inch (11.4 cm) overall height, 3.3 inch (8.3 cm) leg troughs, 3.6 lbs (1.6 kg), widths and depths from 14 to 22 inches (35.6 to 55.9 cm), and a 350 lb (158.8 kg) rating.
This is a quote-only size. A seating therapist confirms width and depth before we order. SP Fluid uses a Hydrolite bladder instead of the viscoelastic insert on SP Visco. Hydrolite is fluid, not gel. If a seating therapist wants a different family, Westin also quotes the JAY Fusion with Cryo, the ROHO High Profile, and the Prism Supreme II Plus.
Who this cushion is for
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion fits a person whose seating therapist wants a fluid well over dual-density foam, with trochanter loading and less temperature sensitivity than heavier fluids. Stay here if a fixed Hydrolite bladder is the brief. Choose the Axiom AS Cushion if the therapist wants the fluid volume to set itself from bodyweight.
- Skin protection and positioning, Hydrolite well
- 4.5 inch (11.4 cm) overall, 3.6 lbs (1.6 kg)
- 350 lb (158.8 kg) rating on the current card
Hydrolite fluid and dual-density foam
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion has a dual-density high-IFD polyurethane foam base and a Hydrolite bladder that sits on the waterproof inner cover, directly under the 4-way super stretch Lycra. Ki Mobility writes Hydrolite as a non-Newtonian fluid: it behaves as a solid under gravity and flows as a viscous fluid under load, which can help reduce shear. It is light and less temperature-sensitive than many other fluids.
The optional cover is wipeable incontinence-resistant polyurethane. That is a design class for skin protection and positioning, not a clinical outcome claim.
Axiom SP Fluid Cushion specifications
These figures are from Ki Mobility's current Axiom SP Fluid card. The specification tab holds the stored values. We do not invent a size picker.
Height overall 4.5 inches (11.4 cm). Leg troughs 3.3 inches (8.3 cm). Width 14 to 22 inches (35.6 to 55.9 cm). Depth 14 to 22 inches (35.6 to 55.9 cm). Product weight 3.6 lbs (1.6 kg). User weight capacity 350 lbs (158.8 kg). Insert: Hydrolite fluid bladder. Cover: 4-way super stretch Lycra or wipeable incontinence-resistant polyurethane.
The Axiom SP owner's manual prints 24 months on the cushion and 6 months on the cover.
Width and depth
A seating therapist measures hip width in sitting and names a 14 to 22 inch width and depth on the current Ki Mobility card. Westin orders that size after the assessment.
The current Axiom SP Fluid card and April 2026 order form stop at 22 inches and a 350 lb rating. Ask us if the therapist needs a width past 22 inches.
Which Axiom wheelchair cushion fits
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion is the Hydrolite well step. Stay here if the therapist wants fluid under the seat bones at 4.5 inches, without the self-adjusting AS system. The Axiom One Cushion is the value general-use foam start. The Axiom G Cushion adds the full Axiom Difference well and cover choice. The Axiom S Cushion is the entry skin-protection foam. The Axiom P Cushion is the positioning foam at 3.5 inches. The Axiom SP Visco Cushion puts viscoelastic foam in the well. The Axiom SP Fluid Cushion swaps that well for Hydrolite fluid. The Axiom AS Cushion is the self-adjusting fluid skin-protection step. The Axiom ASP Cushion adds positioning height to that fluid system. The Axiom Air LTE Cushion is the 1 lb four-size air seat. The Star Stabil Air Cushion and Star Standard Air Cushion are the Etac Star air-cell seats.
Funding help for a wheelchair cushion or back support in Ontario
This cushion or back support is an ADP positioning device category item. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of positioning devices such as cushions and back supports when they are prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist with an eligible mobility device, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every product qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers this wheelchair cushion across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, check the size against the chair, and show you the Hydrolite bladder orientation and the two covers before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see an Axiom or Star cushion first. For a scheduled in-home drop-off, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased cushions are delivered on a scheduled date.
If the cushion is going outside the GTA, ask us for a shipping quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the cushion needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Ki Mobility Axiom SP Fluid warranty
The Axiom SP owner's manual prints 24 months on the cushion and 6 months on the cover, for the first consumer purchase. Punctures, tears, and burns sit outside that term. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What Size Wheelchair Cushion Do I Need?
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion is ordered by seat width and depth after a seating therapist measures hip width in sitting and matches the wheelchair seat. Westin quotes and orders that size after the assessment.
How Do I Choose Between Gel, Foam, And Air Cushions?
Ki Mobility Axiom foam cushions (One, G, S, P, SP Visco) are foam. Axiom SP Fluid, AS, and ASP use Hydrolite fluid, which is not gel. Axiom Air LTE and the Star cushions are air cells. A seating therapist names the class. Do not pick from a photo alone.
Does ADP Cover Wheelchair Cushions?
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can help with a wheelchair cushion or back support after an ADP-registered therapist assessment with an eligible mobility device. Eligibility depends on the person. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
Is Hydrolite A Gel?
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion uses Hydrolite, a non-Newtonian fluid. Ki Mobility does not call it gel. People often search gel wheelchair cushion when they mean a fluid well.
What Is The Weight Limit For The Axiom SP Fluid?
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion is rated at 350 lbs (158.8 kg) on Ki Mobility's current card, in sizes through 22 inches.
Are There Bariatric Axiom SP Fluid Sizes?
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion is sold on the current Ki Mobility card from 14 to 22 inches at 350 lbs. Ask us if the therapist needs a width past 22 inches.
How Long Is The Axiom SP Fluid Warranty?
The Axiom SP Fluid cushion carries 24 months on the cushion and 6 months on the cover in the SP owner's manual, for the first consumer purchase.
Can I See An Axiom Cushion In Brampton?
Westin Healthcare can show an Axiom cushion in the Brampton and Toronto stores and deliver across the GTA. Call (905) 451-7743 to check what is on the floor.
