Description
The Golden PR519 lift chair is Golden Technologies' current Cloud Supreme with Twilight, a 5-zone power lift recliner that Golden describes as a tilt-in-space chair with a true feeling of weightlessness. Westin Healthcare sells it, delivers it, and sets it up for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Two hybrid sizes cover the Cloud bucket seat: PR519-SME Small-Medium and PR519-MLA Medium-Large.
Golden's Canada sheet rates both sizes 400 lb (181 kg). The seat is 23 inches (58 cm) wide on either frame. Twilight tilt lets you raise the feet above the heart. MaxiComfort positioning with a four-way motion seat, an articulating headrest, and power lumbar are standard. The AutoDrive hand control saves the positions you use every day. This is the catalog successor to the Golden PR515 Cloud with Twilight we still carry.
Who this lift chair is for
This lift chair is for someone who wants the current Golden Cloud bucket and biscuit back, the fifth Twilight tilt zone, and the open-arm conveniences Golden added on the PR519: a wireless phone charger, a drink holder, a removable table, and a removable LED reading light. Families usually call us when a 3-position chair no longer gives enough recline, or when they want to step from the earlier PR515 Cloud to the 400 lb (181 kg) Supreme.
It is not a 3-position value chair. That is the Pride Essential LC-106. It is not a Pride VivaLift. If you want Pride's current infinite-position line, start with the Pride VivaLift Tranquil. The PR519 is Golden's current Twilight Cloud in the two sizes Golden prints.
- 5-zone Twilight plus MaxiComfort Cloud Supreme, made in the USA
- 400 lb (181 kg) Golden rating on SME and MLA
- 23 inch (58 cm) seat, 20 or 22 inches of wall space
MaxiComfort and Twilight positioning
Golden prints two patents on this chair. MaxiComfort is infinite recline that moves the seat as you go back, so the body stays supported from sit through TV, sleep, and zero-gravity-style rest. Twilight is the fifth comfort zone: the whole seat tilts so the feet can sit above the heart and Golden can call the result a feeling of weightlessness. Golden also prints a ZG+ position on the US Cloud Supreme card.
The five zones on the AutoDrive hand control are lower body, upper body, headrest, lumbar, and Twilight tilt. Each zone moves on its own. Programmable buttons store the positions you want back later. This is how Golden describes a zero gravity lift chair. It is not a 3-position chair whose back and footrest travel together.
Size and wall space
Golden prints two sizes: Small-Medium (PR519-SME) and Medium-Large (PR519-MLA). Those size names are on the Canada sheet. Golden does not reprint a height range in feet on that sheet. We confirm the fit in the showroom against the seat numbers below.
PR519-SME: seat 23 inches (58 cm) wide and 19 inches (48 cm) deep, floor to seat 19.5 inches (50 cm), back 30 inches (76 cm), arm 8.5 inches (22 cm), overall 41 inches (104 cm) wide and 45 inches (114 cm) tall, 20 inches (51 cm) from the wall when reclined. Plan 43 inches (109 cm) in front from the back of the seat to the end of the open footrest.
PR519-MLA: same 23 inch (58 cm) seat width, seat 21.5 inches (55 cm) deep, floor to seat 20.5 inches (52 cm), back 32 inches (81 cm), arm 7 inches (18 cm), overall 40.5 inches (103 cm) wide and 47.5 inches (121 cm) tall, 22 inches (56 cm) from the wall when reclined. Plan 44 inches (112 cm) in front from the back of the seat to the end of the open footrest.
Golden PR519 specifications
These figures are for Golden PR519-SME and PR519-MLA as printed on Golden Canada's Cloud PR519 sell sheet. The specification tab holds the stored values.
Weight capacity 400 lb (181 kg) on both sizes. Positioning Twilight, 5 comfort zones, chaise yes, pocketed coil seat no. Biscuit back with a quick-release removable back. Articulating headrest and power lumbar standard. Straight lift yes. Extra pocket standard. AutoDrive hand control in the inside pocket. USB charging on the right arm. Battery backup yes. SmartTek diagnostic system standard. Heat and vibrating massage, HeatWave, and a footrest extension are Golden options. Nirvana Swedish Air Massage is not offered on this Cloud. Place of origin USA.
Do not mix these numbers with the earlier PR515 (375 lb / 170 kg, 23.5 inch seat, no open-arm charger set) or with Cloud Plus PR525 and Cloud Luxury PR527.
Colour and fabric options
Ask us for the fabric you want. Golden's standard SofTouch colours with Stain Defense on the current Canada sheet are Calypso, Camel, Hazelnut, Shiraz, and Sterling. Golden charges an upcharge for crossover fabrics, including Brisa. The Sinda pattern is unavailable on the PR519. Night Navy in Golden's gallery is a Brisa crossover example, not a Tucker standard.
Heat and massage is a Golden option, not a colour. If you want Golden's deluxe heat and vibrating massage, HeatWave, or the footrest extension, call (905) 451-7743 and we will check the upgrade.
Golden Twilight chairs compared
A 3-position lift chair moves the back and footrest together through sit, TV, and recline. Our 3-position chairs are the Pride Essential LC-106 and the Pride Heritage LC-358.
An infinite-position chair lets the back and footrest travel on their own. Pride's current infinite line on our floor is VivaLift, including the Tranquil and the Ultra.
Twilight on Golden adds the fifth zone: the seat itself tilts. The live predecessor is the PR515 Cloud with Twilight (375 lb). The current Cloud bucket with open-arm charger and table is this PR519. The Cloud Plus PR525 is the S/M/L Cloud+ with tray and charger. The Cloud Luxury PR527 is the Ashton memory-foam Cloud. Track-arm sleepers are the EZ Sleeper PR761 and the EZ Sleeper Slim PR764. Open-arm DeLuna chairs are the Rhea PR447, the Titan PL449, and the Venice PL447.
Funding help for a lift chair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this lift chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the AutoDrive hand control before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a lift chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased lift chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Lift chairs are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Golden manufacturer warranty
Golden warrants the chair frame, lift frame, and recline mechanism to the original purchaser for life against breakage from defective materials or workmanship. Labour on those parts is subsidized for three years. Electrical parts (hand control, motor, transformer, control box, heating pad, massage unit) are covered for three years, then prorated in years four through seven. Electrical labour is subsidized for one year. The warranty is residential only. It does not cover misuse, non-residential use, or exceeding the 400 lb (181 kg) capacity. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What Size Lift Chair Do I Need?
The Golden PR519 lift chair is sold in two sizes. Small-Medium (PR519-SME) is the 19 inch (48 cm) seat-depth, 19.5 inch (50 cm) seat-to-floor, 20 inch (51 cm) wall-space frame. Medium-Large (PR519-MLA) is the 21.5 inch (55 cm) seat-depth, 20.5 inch (52 cm) seat-to-floor, 22 inch (56 cm) wall-space frame. Both seats are 23 inches (58 cm) wide. Golden does not print a height range in feet on the current sheet. We confirm the fit in the showroom.
How Far From the Wall Does a Lift Chair Need to Be?
The Golden PR519 lift chair needs 20 inches (51 cm) from the wall on the Small-Medium frame and 22 inches (56 cm) on the Medium-Large frame when it is fully reclined. Plan 43 inches (109 cm) in front on SME and 44 inches (112 cm) on MLA from the back of the seat to the end of the open footrest. This is not a wall-hugger.
What Is the Difference Between a 3-Position and an Infinite Position Lift Chair?
The Golden PR519 lift chair is not a 3-position chair. A 3-position chair such as the Pride LC-106 moves the back and footrest together. An infinite-position chair moves them on their own. Twilight on the PR519 adds a fifth zone so the seat can tilt and the feet can sit above the heart.
Does Twilight Mean Zero Gravity?
The Golden PR519 lift chair is the zero gravity lift chair in Golden's current Cloud pair because Twilight tilts the seat so the feet can sit above the heart. Golden's words are a feeling of weightlessness. It is still a lift chair, not a medical treatment.
How Is the PR519 Different From the PR515?
The Golden PR519 lift chair is Golden's current Cloud Supreme with Twilight. The PR515 is the earlier Cloud with Twilight we still sell. Golden rates the PR519 400 lb (181 kg) and the PR515 375 lb (170 kg). The PR519 adds the open-arm charger, drink holder, removable table, and LED light. Seat inches are not the same. Do not mix the two spec tables.
What Is the Weight Capacity of the Golden PR519?
The Golden PR519 lift chair is rated 400 lb (181 kg) on Golden's Canada sheet, Small-Medium or Medium-Large. Stay at or under that rating.
What Fabrics Can I Choose?
The Golden PR519 lift chair uses Golden SofTouch fabrics with Stain Defense. Standard colours on the Canada sheet are Calypso, Camel, Hazelnut, Shiraz, and Sterling. Brisa is a crossover upgrade. Sinda is not offered on this model.
Does the PR519 Have Heat and Massage?
The Golden PR519 lift chair offers deluxe heat and vibrating massage and HeatWave as Golden options. Nirvana Swedish Air Massage is not on the PR519 sheet. Ask us to add the heat package you want before we order.
Does the PR519 Have a Battery Backup?
The Golden PR519 lift chair includes a battery backup on Golden's Canada sheet. USB charging sits on the right arm. SmartTek is standard so a technician can read the chair if it needs service.
Can Funding Help With a Lift Chair in Ontario?
Funding support for a lift chair in Ontario depends on the person's situation and assessment. Westin Healthcare works with funding programs every week. Start on our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 before you buy.
What Is the Warranty on the Golden PR519?
The Golden PR519 lift chair carries Golden's lifetime coverage on the chair frame, lift frame, and recline mechanism for the original purchaser, three years on electrical parts, then a prorated schedule through year seven. Mechanical labour is subsidized for three years. Electrical labour is subsidized for one year. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
