Pad, covers, and mount hardware

The Whitmyer Contoured Cradle Head Support uses a rotational collar so the pad can be turned for contact. Covers are Lycra (4-way stretch, water-resistant), Fleece (washable lambswool), or Dartex Reversed (anti-allergenic, waterproof, 2-way stretch). Six Whitmyer hardware families are printed on the adult cards: Axys, Onyx, Linx, Pro, Cobra Xtra, and Cobra Xtra Flip Back. The pad and the hardware are separate order lines. We measure the back before we pick a stem. We do not invent a cane diameter.

Funding help for a wheelchair cushion or back support in Ontario

This cushion or back support is an ADP positioning device category item. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of positioning devices such as cushions and back supports when they are prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist with an eligible mobility device, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Westin's own team delivers this head support across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, check it against the wheelchair, and show you the cover and any hardware before we leave.

Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased seating is delivered on a scheduled date after the assessment and quote.
