Description
The Ki Mobility Rogue 2 is a rigid ultralight Category 4 wheelchair on Ki's current adult Rogue platform. Westin Healthcare configures it after an assessment and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. This is a prescription chair. It does not fold, and it is not a same-day cart item.
Ki lists a 12 to 20 inch seat width, a 14 to 20 inch seat depth, a 275 lb rating, and a 10.6 lb transport weight with the rear wheels off. The frame is 1 3/8 inch tubing. Camber is 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 degrees. Ki lists the chair as ANSI RESNA WC-19 transit approved. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can fund 75% of the approved price for eligible clients. An assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist comes first.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who will self-propel a rigid ultralight every day, who fits a 12 to 20 inch seat, and who stays within Ki's 275 lb rating. Clinicians usually write it when they want the later Rogue tower, dimple-track centre of gravity, and a WC-19 transit rating on an adult frame.
If the person needs 14 to 22 inch or a 350 lb heavy-duty option, start with the Ki Mobility Rogue ALX. If the rider is younger and needs 10 to 18 inch with built-in growth, see the Ki Mobility Rogue XP. Another Ki rigid in this category is the Ki Mobility Ethos.
- Everyday self-propel on a current-generation rigid Rogue
- A 12 to 20 inch seat and a 275 lb Ki rating
- ADP Category 4 after a therapist assessment
Design and build
The Rogue 2 is a rigid frame. It does not fold. Ki's product page and brochure never describe a folding Rogue 2. Rear wheels come off on quick-release axles so the chair can go into a car. The camber-tube clamp is shaped so the tube is less likely to catch clothes when you load it.
Centre of gravity runs on Ki's patented Dimple Track. Rear seat height is indexed and does not need the chair taken apart. The wing and caster-angle system squares the casters at the chosen seat angle. You can change the back angle with one tool while the person is in the chair, including +4 and +9 degree relax positions. Anti-tips flip to in-use, up, or stow.
The front end is a fixed footrest. Ki's order sets V-front angle, Y-taper, sling position, depth growth, back, arms, wheels, casters, camber, and colour. Colour accents sit on the back plates, tower or clamp, and camber tube.
Ki Mobility Rogue 2 specifications
These figures are for the Rogue 2 as Ki publishes it. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use Ki's current product page, the 2025-02-13 user manual, and the DCN1015.1 brochure. Do not use an older 1 year warranty line or an 11 lb complete-chair weight. Ki does not publish a complete rolling weight for this model.
Seat width 12 to 20 inches. Seat depth 14 to 20 inches. Front seat height 13.5 to 20.5 inches. Rear seat height 13.5 to 20 inches. Camber 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 degrees. Transport weight 10.6 lb on a 16 by 16 inch frame with a short back, 4 inch poly casters, a tubular open footplate, and the rear wheels off. Capacity 275 lb. Transit: Ki lists ANSI RESNA WC-19. Tube size 1 3/8 inch.
Warranty for the original purchaser in North America is the life of that purchaser on the frame and the quick-release axles, and one year on other Ki-made parts. Ki prints an expected frame life of five years. Wear items such as upholstery, tires, tubes, armrest pads, armrests, and push-handle grips are outside that term.
Sizes and how the chair is specified
Seat width, depth, back, camber, arms, wheels, casters, colour, transit, and anti-tips are set with Westin on the Ki order after the assessment. Ki builds 12 to 20 inch widths and 14 to 20 inch depths, including the in-between inches. This chair is built to that order. It is not picked off a shelf.
ADP funding for a Category 4 wheelchair in Ontario
This chair is an ADP-eligible category device. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) pays 75% of the approved price for eligible clients, and clients receiving Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD support can be covered for the full cost. The route starts with an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, who confirms the need and the right category before anything is ordered: a chair bought before approval is not reimbursed. Westin Healthcare works with ADP authorizers and submissions every week, configures the chair to the prescription, and walks you through the paperwork. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to start the conversation.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, fit the rear wheels, and show you the wheel locks, the anti-tips, the back-angle adjuster, and how the wheels come off before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a rigid chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; a purchased Rogue 2 is built to the prescription and delivered on a scheduled date after configuration and ADP paperwork.
This chair is rigid. The rear wheels come off for a car. If it is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Ki Mobility manufacturer warranty
Ki Mobility warrants the frame and quick-release axles against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. Other Ki-made parts are warranted for one year from the first consumer purchase. Ki prints an expected frame life of five years. The term applies in North America. It does not cover wear items, neglect, misuse, a bad install, or going over the weight limit, and it is void if the serial tag is removed or if a modification caused the failure. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What does Category 4 mean on this chair?
Category 4 is the Ontario ADP class for an ultralight rigid wheelchair, under 25 lb, with centre-of-gravity adjustment, quick-release axles, and anti-tips. The Rogue 2 is a rigid chair. Ki lists a 10.6 lb transport weight with the rear wheels off. Ki does not publish a complete rolling weight.
Who qualifies for ADP on a Category 4 wheelchair?
Ontario says you must live in Ontario, hold a valid health card, and need the device for 6 months or longer. An ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist has to assess you before you buy. Income is not part of that screen. We cannot promise that a specific person will be approved.
How does the 75 / 25 split work?
For eligible clients, ADP pays 75% of the approved price and the person pays the remaining 25%, plus anything that is not on the approved order. People on Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD may have the approved amount covered in full. Extras you add after the fact are not part of that split.
What is the assessment process?
You see an ADP-registered OT or PT. They choose the device type and help complete the application. Westin configures the Rogue 2 on the Ki order and submits the form. Do not buy or take delivery first. Ontario will not reimburse a chair bought before those steps.
How long does ADP take?
Ontario says it aims to decide on a mobility-aid application within 8 weeks of receiving it. Build time at Ki and delivery in the GTA sit on top of that. Ask us for a current picture when the assessment is booked. We do not quote a guaranteed total.
Can I try a Rogue 2 before we submit?
Call (905) 451-7743 and ask what we can show in a Brampton or Toronto store, or at a clinic visit. A custom rigid is built to the order, so a floor chair will not be your exact size.
How should the seat width fit?
Measure the seated hip width and leave a little room on each side. Ki builds 12 to 20 inch on the Rogue 2, including the in-between inches. Depth is 14 to 20 inch. Those numbers are set on the Ki order, not picked as a stock size.
What is the weight capacity?
Ki lists 275 lb for the Rogue 2, including the transit rating in the 2025 user manual. Stay at or under that rating.
Is the Rogue 2 a folding chair?
No. It is a rigid frame. The rear wheels come off for a car. Ki lists 10.6 lb for a 16 by 16 inch frame with the wheels off.
Is it approved as a seat in a vehicle?
Ki lists the Rogue 2 as ANSI RESNA WC-19 transit approved. That still needs the transit option on the order and the right tie-down in the vehicle. Ask us before you plan to ride in the chair in a van or bus.
What is the warranty?
Lifetime on the frame and quick-release axles for the original purchaser, one year on other Ki-made parts, in North America. Wear items are outside that term. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
What happens if ADP declines?
Ontario sends a letter with the reason and how to follow up, including an appeal. Call us before you pay privately. We will walk through the letter and the other funding routes on the funding page.
