The Golden MaxiComforter PR-535 lift chair is Golden Technologies' small-to-tall MaxiComfort recliner: six Canada sizes, 2 comfort zones, and no Twilight. Westin Healthcare sells it, delivers it, and sets it up for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Golden's Canada card says the collection fits people from 4'8" to 6'8" (142 to 203 cm).
Golden's Canada sheet rates Petite/Small, Medium, Large, and Tall at 400 lb (181 kg), Medium/Wide PR535-M26 at 500 lb (227 kg), and Large/Wide PR535-M28 at 600 lb (272 kg). MaxiComfort is infinite positioning. AutoDrive with memory is standard on every size except PR535-M26.
Who this lift chair is for
This lift chair is for someone who wants MaxiComfort infinite positioning across a real height ladder, including tall and wide frames, without a powered headrest or Twilight tilt. Families usually call us when a single Medium 3-position chair is the wrong length or the wrong width.

MaxiComfort positioning
MaxiComfort is Golden's two-motor infinite recline. The Canada MaxiComforter card names TV Watching, Zero Gravity, Sleep, and Trendelenburg. The two comfort zones are lower body and upper body. Each zone moves on its own from AutoDrive, except on PR535-M26, which Golden's sheet prints without AutoDrive.
This is not a 3-position chair. The back and footrest do not have to travel together. Twilight is not on this chair.
Size and wall space
Use Golden's printed size names. The Canada product card still prints the wides as PR535-MXW and PR535-LXW. The current Canada sell sheet prints those same wides as PR535-M26 and PR535-M28. We confirm the invoiced code when you order.
PR535-PSA Petite/Small: seat 21 by 19 inches (53 by 48 cm), floor 20 inches (51 cm), back 27 inches (69 cm), overall 32 by 40 inches (81 by 102 cm), wall 22 inches (56 cm).
PR535-MED Medium: seat 21 by 20 inches (53 by 51 cm), floor 20 inches (51 cm), back 28 inches (71 cm), overall 32 by 42 inches (81 by 107 cm), wall 23 inches (58 cm).
PR535-LAR Large: seat 23 by 21 inches (58 by 53 cm), floor 21 inches (53 cm), back 30 inches (76 cm), overall 34 by 43 inches (86 by 109 cm), wall 25 inches (64 cm).

Colour and size options
Ask us for Petite/Small, Medium, Large, Tall, Medium/Wide, or Large/Wide and for the chenille colour you want. Golden's Canada standard five are Anchor, Bittersweet, Oxford, Port, and Sandstorm, with stain defense. Crossover fabrics carry a Golden upcharge. Heat and massage and the footrest extension are options, not colours.
3-position, MaxiComfort, or 4-zone
Golden's Canada lineup is a comfort-zone ladder, not a Pride VivaLift clone. A 1-zone chair is a 3-position lift chair: the back and footrest travel together on a two-button hand control. Our 1-zone Goldens are the Comforter PR-531, the Comforter Wide, the Elara, the Aurora, and the Austin.
A 2-zone chair adds MaxiComfort so the back and footrest travel on their own. That is the Cloud PR-510, the MaxiComforter PR-535, and the Relaxer.
A 4-zone chair keeps MaxiComfort and adds a powered headrest and powered lumbar: the Cloud Plus, the EZ Sleeper Slim, the Dione, and the Rhea. Twilight is a fifth zone on chairs we already sell, starting with the Golden PR515 Cloud with Twilight. None of the chairs on this Golden Classic set is a Twilight chair.

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund lift chairs, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs, and a lift chair's lift mechanism may qualify as a medical expense on a Canadian tax return when prescribed. Lift chairs are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Golden manufacturer warranty
Golden warrants the chair frame, lift frame, and recline mechanism to the original purchaser for life against breakage from defective materials or workmanship. Labour on those parts is subsidized for three years. Electrical parts (hand control, motor, transformer, control box, heating pad, massage unit) are covered for three years, then prorated in years four through seven. Electrical labour is subsidized for one year. The warranty is residential only. It does not cover misuse, non-residential use, or exceeding the printed weight capacity. The Golden MaxiComforter PR-535 lift chair is sold in six Canada sizes from Petite/Small to Large/Wide. Golden's Canada card says the collection covers 4'8" to 6'8" (142 to 203 cm). Seat widths run from 21 inches (53 cm) on PSA and Medium to 29 inches (74 cm) on M28. We confirm the fit in the showroom.
How Far From the Wall Does a Lift Chair Need to Be?
The Golden MaxiComforter PR-535 lift chair needs 22 to 26 inches (56 to 66 cm) from the wall on the standard four sizes, 25 inches (64 cm) on M26, and 21 inches (53 cm) on M28 when it is fully reclined. This is not a wall-hugger.
What Is the Difference Between a 3 Position and an Infinite Position Lift Chair?
A 3-position lift chair moves the back and footrest together through sit, TV, and recline. An infinite-position Golden MaxiComfort chair moves them on their own, so the person can sit up with the legs out or lie flatter. Golden's 4-zone chairs add a powered headrest and lumbar on top of that MaxiComfort motion. Twilight, sold on other Golden pages, adds a fifth tilt zone.
