Description
The NuProdx MC4000 Pediatric is a mobile shower commode line for growing children. Westin Healthcare quotes it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It rolls over the toilet and into a barrier-free shower so the family is not doing a second bathroom transfer. It is not a tub slider.
Sunrise names four configurations. The MC4000 Ped uses a 10.7-17.7 in seat depth. The MC4000 Tilt Ped is 22 in wide, 38 lb (17 kg), rated at 300 lb (136 kg), with a 22.5-25.5 in seat-to-floor range. The MC4020 Ped adds 20 in self-propel wheels. The MC4000 Leckey mounts a Leckey Advance Bath Chair, 20 in wide, 35 lb, rated at 159 lb (72 kg).
Who this shower commode is for
This chair is for a child who needs caregiver help, or who is ready to self-propel, in a roll-in shower. Families usually call us when a tub slider is the wrong tool because the shower has no tub wall, or when they want the chair to grow with modular cushions.
If the child has to cross a tub wall, start with the MC6000 Pediatric. If the user is an adult, see the MC4000. Among shower commodes we already stock, see the Raz AP.
- Seat depth 10.7-17.7 in on the Ped
- Tilt Ped for positioning
- 20 in self-propel on the MC4020 Ped
Wheels and growth
The Ped rolls over toilets and into barrier-free showers. Locking casters and flip-up arms are there for transfers. The Tilt Ped uses a centre-of-mass tilt and a side crank. The 4020 Ped uses 20 in wheels and handrims, including a front-mount option for toilet-tank clearance. Cushions and measures update as the child grows. We measure the child and the bathroom before we quote.

Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada's Home and Vehicle Modification Program, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this shower commode across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, set the height, and show you the locks and the arms before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather talk through a measure first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Purchased chairs are delivered on a scheduled date after we confirm the measures.
If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
