Description
The Ki Mobility Rogue ALX is a rigid ultralight Category 4 wheelchair with a 7000 series aluminum frame. Westin Healthcare configures it after an assessment and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. This is a prescription chair, not a folding transport chair and not a same-day cart item.
Ki lists a 14 to 22 inch seat width, a 14 to 20 inch seat depth, an 18.8 lb standard weight, and an 11.2 lb transport weight with the rear wheels off. Capacity is 250 lb, or 350 lb with Ki's heavy-duty option. The frame is 1 3/8 inch tubing. Camber is 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 degrees. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can fund 75% of the approved price for eligible clients. An assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist comes first.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who will use a rigid ultralight every day, who fits a 14 to 22 inch seat, and who stays within Ki's 250 lb rating (or 350 lb if the heavy-duty option is on the order). Families and clinicians usually call us when a folding Category 1-3 chair is heavier than they want, or when they need centre-of-gravity and seat-height adjustment on a rigid frame.
If the person needs a 12 to 20 inch seat, a 275 lb rating, and a WC-19 transit-rated Rogue, start with the Ki Mobility Rogue 2. If the rider is younger and needs 10 to 18 inch with built-in growth, see the Ki Mobility Rogue XP. The next Ki rigid in the same category is the Ki Mobility Ethos.

Design and build
The Rogue ALX is a rigid frame. It does not fold. Ki builds it from 7000 series 1 3/8 inch aluminum. Ki's Crescent CG system sets centre of gravity along the side frame without a stack of extra hardware. The Tubular Component System changes seat height in 1/4 inch steps.
The front end is a fixed footrest, not swing-away hangers. Ki's order lets you set the front-frame bend, the sling position, and an adjustable-depth seat. Rear wheels come off on quick-release axles so the chair can go into a car. Front casters, camber, back, and arms are chosen on the Ki order. Colour is a Ki powder coat, with a colour-accent option on the back plates, forks, and camber tube.
A transit tie-down is optional on Ki's order. Ki's 2025 user manual limits that transit option to 125 lb. Do not treat the ALX as a full-capacity WC-19 chair unless the order and the manual for that build say so.
Ki Mobility Rogue ALX specifications
These figures are for the Rogue ALX as Ki publishes it. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use Ki's current product page and the 2025-04-01 user manual, not an older 1 year warranty line or a 350 lb-only capacity line if those still appear.
Seat width 14 to 22 inches. Seat depth 14 to 20 inches. Front seat height 13.5 to 20.5 inches. Rear seat height 13.5 to 19.5 inches. Camber 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 degrees. Standard weight 18.8 lb. Transport weight 11.2 lb on a 16 by 16 inch frame with the rear wheels off, a 12 inch adjustable-height back, 4 inch poly casters, a tubular open footplate, and standard upholstery. Capacity 250 lb, or 350 lb with the heavy-duty option (Ki's order says that option needs 6 inch casters).
Warranty for the original purchaser in North America is the life of that purchaser on the frame and the quick-release axles, and one year on other Ki-made parts. Ki prints an expected frame life of five years. Wear items such as upholstery, tires, tubes, armrest pads, armrests, and push-handle grips are outside that term. Damage from neglect, misuse, a bad install, or going over the weight limit is not covered.
Seat Width and Seat Depth
Use Seat Width to set 16, 18, 20, or 22 inch. Ki also builds 14, 15, 17, 19, and 21 inch. Ask us if you need a width that is not in Seat Width.
Use Seat Depth to set 16, 18, or 20 inch. Ki also builds 14, 15, 17, and 19 inch. Depth growth, sling position, camber, back, arms, wheels, casters, and colour are set with Westin on the Ki order after the assessment. This chair is built to that order. It is not picked off a shelf.
ADP funding for a Category 4 wheelchair in Ontario
This chair is an ADP-eligible category device. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) pays 75% of the approved price for eligible clients, and clients receiving Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD support can be covered for the full cost. The route starts with an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, who confirms the need and the right category before anything is ordered: a chair bought before approval is not reimbursed. Westin Healthcare works with ADP authorizers and submissions every week, configures the chair to the prescription, and walks you through the paperwork. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to start the conversation.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, fit the rear wheels, and show you the wheel locks, the anti-tips, and how the wheels come off before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a rigid chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; a purchased Rogue ALX is built to the prescription and delivered on a scheduled date after configuration and ADP paperwork.
This chair is rigid. The rear wheels come off for a car. If it is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Ki Mobility manufacturer warranty
Ki Mobility warrants the frame and quick-release axles against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. Other Ki-made parts are warranted for one year from the first consumer purchase. Ki prints an expected frame life of five years. The term applies in North America. It does not cover wear items, neglect, misuse, a bad install, or going over the weight limit, and it is void if the serial tag is removed or if a modification caused the failure. We handle the claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What does Category 4 mean on this chair?
Category 4 is the Ontario ADP class for an ultralight rigid wheelchair, under 25 lb, with centre-of-gravity adjustment, quick-release axles, and anti-tips. The Rogue ALX is a rigid 7000 series aluminum chair. Ki lists 18.8 lb standard and 11.2 lb with the rear wheels off.
Who qualifies for ADP on a Category 4 wheelchair?
Ontario says you must live in Ontario, hold a valid health card, and need the device for 6 months or longer. An ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist has to assess you before you buy. Income is not part of that screen. We cannot promise that a specific person will be approved.
How does the 75 / 25 split work?
For eligible clients, ADP pays 75% of the approved price and the person pays the remaining 25%, plus anything that is not on the approved order. People on Ontario Works, ODSP, or ACSD may have the approved amount covered in full. Extras you add after the fact are not part of that split.
What is the assessment process?
You see an ADP-registered OT or PT. They choose the device type and help complete the application. Westin, as the vendor, configures the Rogue ALX on the Ki order and submits the form. Do not buy or take delivery first. Ontario will not reimburse a chair bought before those steps.
How long does ADP take?
Ontario says it aims to decide on a mobility-aid application within 8 weeks of receiving it. Build time at Ki and delivery in the GTA sit on top of that. Ask us for a current picture when the assessment is booked. We do not quote a guaranteed total.
Can I try a Rogue ALX before we submit?
Call (905) 451-7743 and ask what we can show in a Brampton or Toronto store, or at a clinic visit. A custom rigid is built to the order, so a floor chair will not be your exact size. A rental of this exact configuration is not something we list as standard.
How should the seat width fit?
Measure the seated hip width and leave a little room on each side. Ki builds 14 to 22 inch. Use Seat Width for 16, 18, 20, or 22 inch, or ask us for an in-between size. Depth is 14 to 20 inch.
What is the weight capacity?
Ki lists 250 lb on the standard Rogue ALX and 350 lb on the heavy-duty option. Stay at or under the rating on the order. The 350 lb figure is not the default.
Will it go in a car?
The frame does not fold. The rear wheels come off on quick-release axles. Ki lists 11.2 lb for a 16 by 16 inch frame with the wheels off. Come into a store if you want to try that lift on your vehicle. The optional transit kit is a 125 lb limit in Ki's 2025 manual, which is a different question from loading an empty chair.
What is the warranty?
Lifetime on the frame and quick-release axles for the original purchaser, one year on other Ki-made parts, in North America. Wear items are outside that term. Westin Healthcare processes the claim. Details are on our service and repairs page.
What happens if ADP declines?
Ontario sends a letter with the reason and how to follow up, including an appeal. Call us before you pay privately. We will walk through the letter and the other funding routes on the funding page.
Is the Rogue ALX the same chair as the Rogue 2?
No. The ALX is Ki's 14 to 22 inch rigid with a 250 or 350 lb rating and Crescent CG. The Rogue 2 is the later adult Rogue, 12 to 20 inch, 275 lb, with a different tower and a WC-19 transit rating. They are separate Ki models with separate ADP codes.
