The Savaria Supreme Leg Support Sling is a one-size loop band that holds a leg, or both legs, so staff can wash, dress a wound, or work at a safe height. Silvalea makes it. Savaria Patient Care lists it. Westin Healthcare quotes it and fits it in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area on a loop carry bar.
This is a bariatric limb-support sling, not a seated full-body transfer sling. If the person needs to move from bed to chair, start with the Handicare Universal Sling or the Savaria Deluxe Bariatric Sling. The matching upper-limb article is the Supreme Arm Support Sling. The matching abdomen article is the Supreme Pannus Support Sling.
Who this sling is for
This sling is for a person who needs the lower limb held at a working height for hygiene, wound treatment, or a care procedure. Silvalea draws it under the thighs with both legs in one band, then hooked to a 2-point loop bar. It is used in acute care, long-term care, and the home. It is not a sit-to-stand sling and it is not a hygiene sling with a commode opening.

What you get
You get one Supreme Leg Support Sling, code B-LEG. It is a single padded band with a lifting strap at each end, made in Silva-Spacer with COOLMAX and COOLMAX freshFX EcoMade. That spacer fabric wicks moisture, breathes, and is suitable for bathing. A lift, a carry bar, and a slide sheet are not in the carton. Ask us if the room should also be quoted a slide sheet to help place the band.
Sizing
Silvalea prints this sling as one size. There is no seated height-and-weight chart. The pad has to match the limb and the task. Confirm the sling with a clinician or our staff before first use.

Attachment and compatible lifts
The Supreme Leg Support Sling is a loop sling. Silvalea states it is for a suitable loop lift only. Both straps hook to the carry bar. The instructions also allow a standard coat hanger (2-point) spreader bar. Do not put these loops on a clip bar, a stud bar, or a Human Care E-clip / mushroom bar. If the bar is an E-clip, see the Human Care Full Body Sling E-clip instead.
On our floor, Handicare loop carry-bar hooks sit on the Handicare C450, the Handicare C625, and the Handicare A450, and on the two-point SlingBar of the Handicare Carina 350. Confirm the bar type before the first lift. A 352 lb sling limits the system to 352 lb on a 450 lb or 625 lb motor. A Carina 350 limits the system to 350 lb.
Shop related products in specialty slings. For a seated loop transfer, stay with the Universal or the Deluxe Bariatric. For a different brand of limb strap, stay with the Medcare Limb Sling or the Handicare Band Sling.
Care and laundering
Wash at 95 C (203 F) with a non-biological detergent. Tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Follow the care symbols on the article you receive. Do not iron. Do not dry the sling on a heater or a steam pipe. Inspect straps, fabric, stitching, and the label after every wash and before every lift. Take the sling out of service if anything is worn, torn, or the label cannot be read.

Is this a loop sling or an E-clip sling?
Loop. Use it on a suitable loop carry bar or a standard 2-point coat-hanger bar. It does not use clip studs or Human Care mushroom E-clips.

This band holds the legs. The Supreme Arm Support Sling (B-ARM) holds an arm and helps with axilla access. The Supreme Pannus Support Sling (B-PAN) holds the abdominal apron for hygiene. They are three separate articles in the same Supreme range.
How is this different from the Medcare Limb Sling or the Band Sling?
This is the Silvalea Supreme one-size leg band (B-LEG). The Medcare Limb Sling is a 6 in or 12 in wrap strap. The Handicare Band Sling is a quilted or disposable pad in Standard or Bariatric. All three hold a limb for care. We will match the one that fits the lift and the task.
Does it fit a C450 or A450?
Those Handicare motors use loop carry-bar hooks, which is the attachment class this sling is built for. Confirm the bar on your motor and stay inside the lowest working load. On those two lifts the 352 lb sling is the limit.
Can this sling move someone from bed to chair?
The instructions show an on-bed lift of the legs. For a seated transfer, use the Handicare Universal Sling or the Savaria Deluxe Bariatric Sling. A clinician assesses any broader transfer use before first use.
How do I wash it?
Wash at 95 C (203 F) with a non-biological detergent. Tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Follow the label on the sling you receive. Inspect straps and seams after every wash.
