Description
The Drive 13023SV is Drive Medical's deluxe hydraulic floor lift in silver vein steel. Westin Healthcare sells it, delivers it, and sets it up for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. There is no battery. The caregiver pumps the hydraulic unit to raise the boom and opens the valve to lower it.
Drive's current sheet prints a 450 lb weight capacity and a six-point swivel bar that can take two or four sling straps plus two chain connections. This SKU is the 5 inch caster version. Boom height on the sheet is 17.5 inches to 72 inches. The lift weighs 72 lb.
Who it is for
This lift is for a person who needs a full-body transfer inside Drive's 450 lb capacity, when a simple hydraulic pump is enough and a battery lift is more than the home needs. If you want electric lifting at the same 450 lb rating, see the Drive 13240. If you need 500 lb and Drive's six-point spring-clip cradle, see the Drive Levantar with manual base. A foldable electric option is the Hoyer Advance.
- Home care where a hydraulic pump is acceptable
- Transfers inside 450 lb
- Caregivers who want a lighter, non-powered floor lift
How it lifts
The 13023SV is a manual hydraulic floor lift. The caregiver opens the adjustable base, attaches a Drive sling to the six-point swivel bar, and pumps the handle to raise the person. Drive prints that the hydraulics raise or lower gradually from a stationary position. This is a transfer device, not a way to move someone down a hallway.
A sling is not in the carton. Drive's hydraulic family instructions say Drive slings and accessories are made to be used with Drive lifts. Ask us for a Drive sling that matches this bar, or browse our full-body slings and universal slings.
Drive 13023SV specifications
These figures are for Westin SKU 13023SV. The specification tab holds the stored values. Drive's current sheet prints a 450 lb weight capacity, a boom height of 17.5 inches to 72 inches, 5 inch casters, a 72 lb lift, and an 85 lb carton. HCPCS on the sheet is E0630. The low-base sibling 13023SVLB is a different Drive SKU.
Warranty for the original purchaser is a limited lifetime on the frame and 1 year limited on the pump.
Slings and spreader bar
Drive fits a six-point swivel bar that can take two or four sling straps plus two chain connections. Chains are a Drive accessory, not a reason to mix sling brands. The sling is sold separately. Stay inside 450 lb on both the lift and the sling. Toileting transfers start with our toileting slings.
Funding help for a patient lift in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not cover patient lifts or other lifting devices. Funding routes that can help when the eligibility criteria fit: ODSP, March of Dimes Canada, and hardship funding programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this lift across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the hydraulic pump before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a lift first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our patient lift rental service; purchased lifts are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
Floor patient lifts are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the lift is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
Can I rent a patient lift before I buy?
Yes. If you only need the lift for a recovery, or you want to live with a floor lift before you buy, rent first. See current packages and rates on patient lift rentals in Brampton.
The rental fleet is typically an electric floor lift with a sling, not this hydraulic pump. For rentals we offer same-day delivery in Brampton, Etobicoke, Toronto, and Mississauga, and next-day delivery for other areas, with one day of notice. The shortest rental term on the rentals page is one week.
If you later decide to buy, ask us about the Rental to Purchase First Month Credit program (an active Westin loyalty program). The rentals hub and rental program FAQs have the program rules.
Service, repairs, and warranty
When something on the lift needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive's 13023SV sheet covers the original purchaser with a limited lifetime on the frame and 1 year limited on the pump. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
