Description

The Magic Mobility XT4 is a 4x4 all-terrain power wheelchair from Sunrise Medical. Westin Healthcare configures it after an assessment and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.

This is not a compact indoor Mini and it is not a folding travel chair. Seat size, MPS or rehab seating, and power functions are written on the Magic order form. Sunrise Canada's page rates the XT4 at 400 lbs (350 lbs with elevate or tilt), 6.2 mph, up to 19 miles on Group 31 batteries, a 27.5 inch width, and a 55.5 inch turning radius. An ADP-registered therapist assessment still comes first if you are asking Ontario to help. Not every power wheelchair qualifies.

Who this chair is for

This chair is for a person who needs four-wheel-drive traction on trails, rural ground, sand, mud, or snow, and who is within Sunrise's 400 lb rating (350 lbs if elevate or tilt is on the order). Families usually call us when a mid-wheel Quickie is fine in the house and stops at the end of the driveway.

If you want 4x4 without servo steering, start with the Magic Mobility Extreme X8. If you need mid-wheel indoors and still want off-road tires, see the Magic 360 or the Frontier V6. The XT4 is not a Quickie Q-series rehab mid-wheel.

  • 4x4 with four 700 W motors and servo-powered steering
  • Independent pivoting-arm suspension, 4 inches of ground clearance
  • Group 31 batteries, up to 19 miles (setup and conditions change that)

Design and outdoor drive

Sunrise mounts each XT4 wheel on its own pivoting arm so all four knobby tires can stay on the ground. Servo-powered steering turns the front wheels with the joystick, including in reverse, without a steering lock. Integrated front and rear LED lights are part of the Canada page. Magic describes low tire pressures as a leave-no-trace choice on trails.

Seating is Magic rehab or MPS comfort, not SEDEO. Widths 13 to 23 inches and depths 13 to 24 inches. Seat-to-floor 19, 20, or 21 inches. JAY cushions and Whitmyer headrests are manufacturer options. C-Me-style elevate, when ordered, is limited to 3.1 mph at full elevation. Crash tested to ISO 7176-19. The chair does not fold. Plan on a van or an accessible vehicle.

Canada colour chips include Sunset Red, Horizon Blue, Midnight Black, Canadian Flag, Camouflage, Digital Camo, and Carbon Fiber.

How this chair is configured

Every XT4 is written on the Magic Mobility order form with the therapist or the clinic. Seat size, tilt or elevate, tyre choice, and colour are set there. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will start that form with you.

XT4, Extreme X8, or Magic 360

The XT4 is the servo-steer 4x4 with Group 31 batteries and a 55.5 inch turn. The Extreme X8 is the four-motor 4x4 with a 26 inch turn and a 12 mile range. The Magic 360 is the compact mid-wheel that still takes off-road tyres. They are separate Magic models.

Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every chair qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA

After the chair is built to the order, Westin's own team delivers and sets it up across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the joystick, charger, and any seating functions before we leave.

We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see an all-terrain base first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.

This power wheelchair is oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty

When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Sunrise / Magic Mobility warranty

The Canada XT4 spec widget does not print a year split. Coverage can vary by province and funding. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us which insert ships with your chair.

Frequently asked questions

Is The XT4 A 4x4 Power Wheelchair?

The Magic Mobility XT4 is a 4x4. Sunrise puts a 700 W motor at each wheel and names servo-powered steering on the Canada page.

How Far Will The XT4 Go On One Charge?

The Magic Mobility XT4 is listed at up to 19 miles on Group 31 batteries. Sunrise says range can change with the setup of the chair and driving conditions.

What Is The Turning Radius?

The Magic Mobility XT4 has a 55.5 inch turning radius. That is a trail 4x4 turn, not a 17 inch Mini turn. Measure doorways and hallways before you order.

What Is The Weight Capacity?

Sunrise lists 400 lbs on the XT4 and 350 lbs when elevate or tilt is on the chair. Stay at or under the rating on the order.

Does ADP List The XT4?

The January 2026 ADP power-base tables we checked do not print a Magic Mobility XT4 row. Some Ontario routes can still help with mobility equipment. Eligibility depends on the person's situation and assessment. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.

Who Qualifies For ADP Funding?

In general you must be an Ontario resident with a valid health card and a disability that needs a mobility aid for 6 months or longer. An ADP-registered OT or PT has to assess you first. We cannot promise that a specific person will qualify.

What Seat Sizes Can Sunrise Build?

The Magic Mobility XT4 rehab seat is listed at 13 to 23 inches wide and 13 to 24 inches deep. The therapist writes the size on the form.

Can I Drive It Elevated?

Sunrise lists 3.1 mph at full seat elevation on the XT4. Ask the therapist whether elevate belongs on the order. Capacity drops to 350 lbs with elevate or tilt.

What Colours Can I Order?

Sunrise Canada's XT4 chips include Sunset Red, Horizon Blue, Midnight Black, Canadian Flag, Camouflage, Digital Camo, and Carbon Fiber. Ask us which colour we can put on your order.

Will It Fold Into A Car Trunk?

No. The Magic Mobility XT4 is a 4x4 all-terrain base. Sunrise lists a 27.5 inch width and a starting weight of 320 lbs with batteries.

What Is The Warranty?

Sunrise does not print a year split on the Canada XT4 spec widget. Coverage may vary by province and funding. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
