This system is for a child who needs caregiver help to get into a tub, and whose family wants one bedside transfer instead of a lift over the tub wall. Families usually call us when a standard pediatric bath chair still leaves a dangerous transfer at the rim.

How the pediatric transfer works

Sunrise's card: one bedside transfer, then the bridge slides over the tub wall with no lifting. Locking arms, adjustable footrests, and a configurable slide direction are there so the chair can grow and can fit the bathroom. The Tilt Ped adds a centre-of-mass tilt and head support. The Leckey version adds a mesh cover, calf support, and an adjustable back angle. We measure the child and the bathroom before we order.

The MC6000 Pediatric is the tub slider: it crosses a tub wall. The MC4000 Pediatric is the wheeled shower commode for a barrier-free shower, with no bridge. The adult MC6000 uses the same slider idea at adult seat sizes.
