Description
The Drive aluminum rehab shower commode is Drive Medical's NRS185007 attendant chair for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is a shower commode wheelchair on four 5 inch (13 cm) locking casters. Drive rates it at 275 lb (125 kg).
This is the caster twin of Drive's NRS185006 self-propel chair. NRS185007 has no 24 inch handrim. A caregiver pushes it. Brand on the Drive CA card is Drive.
Who this shower commode wheelchair is for
This chair is for a person who stays at or under Drive's 275 lb (125 kg) rating and who wants a padded rehab seat a caregiver can roll over a standard toilet, into a shower, or to the bedside bucket. Families here usually call when 11114KD-1 feels too light and they do not need 24 inch wheels.
Drive prints padded flip-back armrests and a seat opening for perineal access. That is Drive's sentence, not a diagnosis. Westin does not give medical advice.
- Attendant: four 5 inch (13 cm) locking casters
- 18 inch by 17 inch (46 cm by 43 cm) padded seat
- Seat to floor 20-22 in (51-56 cm), 275 lb (125 kg)
Wheels and who pushes it
Drive's official name is Aluminum Rehab Shower Commode Chair with Four Rear-locking Casters. The feature line prints 5 inch locking casters. All four corners are small casters. There is no 24 inch rear wheel on NRS185007.
Lock the casters before a transfer. If the person needs to push themselves, that is Drive NRS185006 (5 inch front casters plus 24 inch rear locking wheels). Westin does not list NRS185006 as a chair today. See the Raz SP if you need a self-propel shower commode we stock.
Over the toilet and in the shower
Drive prints that NRS185007 can be positioned over a standard toilet, used as a portable self-contained commode, or used as a shower chair. Drive does not print a clearance height or an inside width. Measure the bowl and the chair in a Brampton or Toronto store. Do not use dealer 17 inch / 19 inch tables as Drive numbers.
Drive prints a rust-resistant aluminum frame, a padded seat and backrest, swing-away detachable footrests with height and angle adjustments, and an easy-to-empty commode bucket. Assembly is tool-free on the sheet.
Drive Aluminum Rehab Shower Commode Chair specifications
These figures are from Drive's current NRS185007 sheet. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use the sheet when they fight. Stored caster size 4 inch is wrong.

Attendant casters or 24 inch self-propel wheels
Stay on NRS185007 if a caregiver will push on 5 inch casters. The 24 inch self-propel SKU is Drive NRS185006, which is not a Westin chair page. For 500 lb on the same rehab idea see the Drive NRS185008. For the light 3 inch commode see the Drive 11114KD-1.
The Medline G1-504WCPX1 is a different brand's attendant transport chair. A tilt chair is the Ezee Life HL190 or the Raz AP.
