The Hoyer Comfort Disposable is Joerns' single-patient Comfort sling with the Securi3 clip system. Westin Healthcare sells it in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Joerns prints a 500 lb / 227 kg safe working load. This is a clip sling for a four-point Hoyer positioning cradle. It is not a loop sling.

The listed SKU NA25600 is a store parent, not a Joerns size code. Official clip Comfort SKUs are NA25610 Extra Small through NA25614 Extra Large. This sling is a different product from the Hoyer Full Back Disposable loop sling.

Westin does not currently list a Hoyer Presence or Stature, which are the Joerns lifts that take this clip cradle. Call us before you buy this sling for a lift we already sold you.

Joerns: the Comfort sling is an easy-fit contoured sling designed to accommodate 85-90% of clients. "In the interests of avoiding cross-infection, this sling is specifically designed for single patient use only." It is for one person, on a Hoyer four-point clip cradle.

Sizing

Joerns colour bands on the Hoyer sling chart are the sizing source. Confirm with a clinician or our staff before the first use.

Every size shares the 500 lb sling SWL. The lift still wins if it is lower. Large is 175-350 lb on the Joerns chart, not 175-500 lb.

Attachment and compatible lifts

This is a clip sling. Joerns: "For use in conjunction with a 4-point positioning cradle, the patented Securi3 clip system ensures no inadvertent detachment of the sling."

The Joerns clip chart marks Presence and Stature for this family. The Hoyer Advance Electric we sell has a six-point loop bar. This clip sling will not hang on that bar. Drive Levantar and Gravis take Drive loop slings, not Hoyer clips.

Care and laundering

Joerns: "Disposable slings are patient specific and are designed not to be washed. Washing the sling will compromise the integrity of the sling." Joerns' 2025 warranty PDF repeats: disposable slings are not to be washed. Inspect before every use. Discard when soiled, damaged, or when that person no longer needs it. Do not move it to a second person.

Westin's own team can deliver this sling across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area after we confirm your lift has a four-point clip cradle. We will not send a clip sling out for a loop bar.
