It is built on the In-Situ High Easy design and adds more continuous support under the bottom and residual limb. Soft binding and Silva-Superfine PLUS spacer fabric are standard. This listing is the M921534 family only. It is not the In-Situ High Easy clip sling, not a Handicare loop hammock, and not a Human Care E-clip amputee sling. If the room already uses a loop carry bar, start with the Handicare Universal Sling.
Who this sling is for
Savaria lists this sling for amputee scenarios and other diverse mobility needs. It holds the body and head during the transfer. Caregivers apply it on the bed, with the person lying down or turned onto one side. It is for a clip-style ceiling lift or floor lift with a stud-type spreader bar. It is not a sit-to-stand sling.

What you get
Each article is a divided-leg in-situ sling in Silva-Superfine PLUS spacer fabric. The fabric is breathable and stretches in more than one direction to help redistribute pressure. Soft binding is standard. Shoulder clips and leg clips use Silvalea D-Anserclip universal clip fixings. A modesty strap joins the leg straps. The head support has a buckle that you fasten after the shoulder clips are on.
The sling is sold on its own. The lift and the clip or stud-type spreader bar are quoted with the room. Use the Size selector to lock one manufacturer code.
Sizing
Savaria prints an A, B, C, and D chart for this family. A is the seated torso girth. B is the seated back height. C is the sling width at the hanger. D is the sling back length. Those measures are a guide. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use. A sling that is too large can let the person slip through the opening.

Care and laundering
Close every hook-and-loop fastening before the sling goes in the washer. Wash at or under 95 C (203 F). Tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Use a non-biological detergent. Do not iron, and do not dry the sling on a heater or steam pipe. Follow the label sewn on the article you receive. Inspect clips, straps, fabric, and the service label before the next lift. Take the sling out of service if you find wear, a tear, or an illegible label.
Once the resident has been transferred, this sling can be left in-situ, subject to an appropriate risk assessment.

Which lifts this sling fits
The In-Situ Amputee Sling is a clip sling. Savaria fits it with Silvalea D-Anserclip universal clip fixings on a wide range of clip-style ceiling lift and floor lift systems. The clips go on a stud-type spreader bar and should click into place. It does not use a loop type spreader bar. It does not use a Human Care E-clip or mushroom bar.
On our floor, the Handicare C450, the Handicare C625, the Handicare A450, and the Handicare Carina 350 ship with loop carry bars. Those motors take a loop sling such as the Handicare Universal Sling. How is this different from the In-Situ High Easy Sling?
Savaria based this cut on the In-Situ High Easy design, then shaped it for amputee transfers so support is more continuous under the bottom and residual limb. High Easy clips use M921530 codes. This card uses M921534 codes.
Does it have head support?
Yes. The sling is designed to provide full body and head support on transfer. After the shoulder clips are on, connect the buckle on the head support and adjust as needed.
How do I apply it?
Apply it on the bed. Fold it, turn the person, bring it under the spine, then glide each leg section under the thigh. Thread the right leg strap through the modesty loop, clip the legs to the lower stud, listen for the click, then buckle the head support. A trained professional should complete the first application.
How do I wash it?
