Who this sling is for
Savaria describes Easy Access as a structured sling for people with poor or reduced tone and for more active people. The trunk wrap and head support hold the body during a seated hygiene transfer. Divided legs help the caregiver apply the sling in a chair. It is for loop carry bars, not clip bars, not Human Care E-clip bars, and not sit-to-stand clip bars.

What you get
Each article is a structured 100% polyester hygiene sling with colour-coded loops, a supportive trunk section that wraps the torso, full integral head support, divided leg sections, an enlarged commode opening, and adjustable counterbalance straps. The caregiver crosses the thoracic straps, feeds one leg strap through the other, keeps the arms outside through the counterbalance strap, and attaches that strap last. Two coloured bartacks on the slider help set the same counterbalance position next time.
Use the Size selector to lock one manufacturer code. The sling is sold on its own. The lift and the carry bar are quoted with the room.
Sizing
Savaria prints an A, B, C, D, and E chart on the Easy Access polyester sheet. A is the seated torso girth. B is the seated side-trunk height under the arm. C is the seated height from the seat to the top of the head. D is the sling width at the hanger. E is the sling body height. Extra Small and Small share A, B, D, and E. They differ on C. Those measures are a guide. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before first use. A sling that is too large can let the person slip through the commode opening.

Savaria designs the sling for routine laundering and tumble drying. The product data for these codes names a wash of 85 C / 185 F and tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Those figures are maximums. Follow the label sewn on the sling you receive. Close hook-and-loop before the wash. Use a non-biological detergent. Do not iron. Inspect loops and seams before the next lift.

Attachment and which lifts this fits
The Easy Access Sling is a loop sling. Savaria prints colour-coded loops so caregivers can record the same loop choice in the care plan. Use it only on a suitable loop lift. It does not use clip fixings. It does not use Human Care E-clips or stud bars. It is not a sit-to-stand sling.

Is this the same as the Hygiene Sling with Buckle?
No. The Hygiene Sling with Buckle is a different quilted toileting sling with a buckle chest strap. Easy Access is the structured polyester model with integral head support, a trunk wrap, and counterbalance straps.
Is this the Enhanced Support Hygiene Sling?

Is this a loop sling or a clip sling?

Can I use it on a sit-to-stand lift?
No. Easy Access is a loop sling for a passive loop lift. If the person needs a toileting sling that also works on a sit-to-stand lift, ask us for the Dual Access sling.
Does it have head support?
Yes. Full integral head support is part of this model. The trunk wrap and the counterbalance straps work with that head support during the lift.
How do I wash it?
Follow the sling label. The product data for these codes names 85 C / 185 F and tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Close hook-and-loop first. Inspect loops and straps after every wash.
