The Savaria Universal Sling with Arched Head Support is a full-body mesh loop sling for general transfers when the person needs padded head support. It is family M921500, rated 600 lb (272 kg) in every size. Westin Healthcare quotes it and fits it in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area on loop carry bars.
This is not the Handicare Universal already on our shop, and it is not the quilted or PolySlip Universal with head support. Those use different part numbers and different safe working loads. Stay on this page when the assessment names an arched integral head, mesh, and M921500.
Who this sling is for
This sling is for a person who needs a full-body seated transfer with head support, including someone with limited head, trunk, hip, or body control. The mesh drains and dries, so it is the bathing and hygiene article in this family. Divided padded legs go under the thighs. A small opening is there for hygiene. This is not a sit-to-stand sling and not an E-clip sling.

What you get
You get one mesh sling in the size on your quote, with the arched padded head, divided padded leg sections, colour-coded loop straps, and the small hygiene opening. A lift is not in the carton. There is no quilted, PolySlip, spacer, or disposable version of this arched model.
The caregiver glides the sling down the back with the label facing out, brings each padded leg under the thigh, seats the colour-coded loops on the carry bar, then tightens the head-support strap so the pad cradles the head. One leg strap feeds through the other so the legs stay together. If the sling needs a nudge after it takes weight, lower the person back to the chair or bed and adjust before you finish the transfer.

Care and laundering
Wash at or below 203 F (95 C) with a non-biological detergent. Close every hook-and-loop tab before the sling goes in the machine. Tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Do not iron. Do not dry it on a heater or a steam pipe. Check straps, mesh, and the label after every wash. Remove the sling from use if anything is worn or the label cannot be read.

Which lifts this sling fits
This is a loop sling. Use it only on a loop-type spreader bar or carry bar. Do not put these straps on a clip bar. Do not put them on a stud or mushroom / E-clip bar.
On our floor that means a Handicare or Savaria loop carry bar: the Handicare C450, the Handicare C625, the Handicare A450, or the two-point SlingBar on the Handicare Carina 350. Shop the family in universal slings and full-body slings.
If the bar is a Human Care mushroom fastener, use the Human Care Full Body Sling E-clip instead. If you need the classic Handicare Universal without this arched head, see the Handicare Universal Sling. Sit-to-stand slings belong on a sit-to-stand lift, not on this carry bar.

Savaria / Silvalea manufacturer warranty
The current product card and instruction sheet do not print a simple year-count warranty. Ask us for the terms that ship with your article. We handle the claim with you. Inspect the sling before every use.

Yes, when those motors use a loop carry bar. It also fits the Carina 350 SlingBar. It does not fit a clip bar or a Human Care E-clip bar.
Can I use it for bathing?
Yes. The body is 100% polyester open-weave mesh so water can drain and the sling can dry. Follow the wash line after a wet transfer.
Can it lift someone from a lying position?
Yes, when the assessment says a supine lift is appropriate. This article has the integral head support that kind of lift needs. Plan the first lift with our staff.
