Description
The Pride Jazzy EVO 614 is a full-size mid-wheel power chair with 13.75 inch perforated centre drive wheels, a 22 inch turning radius, and Pride's Active-Trac ATX suspension. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Pride rates the chair at 300 lbs. On the Canadian brochure the top speed is up to 7 km/h and the range is up to 30.6 km at 300 lbs, or 34.6 km at 200 lbs. The batteries are a pair of 12-volt NF-22 sealed lead-acid packs charged with a 5-amp off-board charger.
Who this chair is for
This chair is for a person who wants a full-size mid-wheel power chair for indoor halls and outdoor thresholds, fits Pride's 16, 18, or 20 inch seat, and is within the 300 lb rating. Families usually call us when a folding travel chair is too small for all-day use, or when they want the 13.75 inch drive wheels and 3 inch ground clearance of the EVO 614.
If you want the narrower 22 inch EVO 613 base and the lithium battery option, start with the Pride Jazzy EVO 613. If you want a 12 inch seat elevator, see the Pride Jazzy Air 2. The EVO 614 is not a folding travel chair and it is not the 450 lb EVO 614HD.
- Full-size mid-wheel use in 16, 18, or 20 inch
- A 22 inch turning radius for indoor doors and kitchens
- NF-22 batteries and a 5-amp off-board charger
Design and build
Pride builds the EVO 614 on a Mid-Wheel 6 layout: 13.75 inch perforated centre drive wheels with 6 inch solid casters front and rear. Two in-line HD motors drive the chair. Independent front and rear Active-Trac ATX suspension is how Pride describes the ride over thresholds, gravel, and grass.
The high-back seat is memory foam with limited recline, a headrest, and a single seat post that swivels. The foot platform flips up and changes height. The joystick is an in-line Dynamic LiNX control with a speed dial. Shrouds are removable matte colour-through pieces in six colours. Brakes are regenerative and electromechanical.
The chair does not fold. Pride lists 25.4 inches wide and 40 inches long. Plan on a van, a lift, or an accessible vehicle if it has to travel, not a car trunk.
Pride Jazzy EVO 614 specifications
These figures are for the Jazzy EVO 614 (Pride model JEVO614) sold here. The specification tab holds the stored values. Pride's Canadian brochure lists a 300 lb capacity, up to 7 km/h, a 22 inch turning radius, 3 inch ground clearance, 13.75 inch perforated drive wheels, 6 inch casters, seat-to-floor 22 to 24 inches, and a total weight of 255.5 lbs with the seat and both batteries.
Range on that brochure is up to 30.6 km at 300 lbs and 34.6 km at 200 lbs. Batteries are two 12-volt NF-22 sealed lead-acid packs. Pride lists that pack as 50-amp. The charger is 5-amp off-board.
Do not mix these numbers with the EVO 613. That chair is 22 inches wide, uses U-1 or lithium batteries, and lists 5.1 mph. Do not mix them with the EVO 614HD. That chair is Pride's 450 lb model.
Warranty for a Canadian purchaser follows Pride's current insert: 5-year limited on the frame, 2-year limited on electronics and drive motors, and 13-month limited on batteries.

Funding help for a power wheelchair in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a power wheelchair when the need is long-term and the chair is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every chair qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this power chair across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the joystick and charger before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This power chair is oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty
When something on the chair needs work, you call the shop that sold it, not a US parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.
Pride manufacturer warranty
Pride's current standard-power insert for a Canadian purchaser is 5-year limited on the frame, 2-year limited on electronics and drive motors, and 13-month limited on batteries. The Pride Canada EVO 614 brochure prints the same 5-year / 24-month / 13-month split. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
What range does the EVO 614 have?
Pride's Canadian brochure lists up to 30.6 km at 300 lbs and up to 34.6 km at 200 lbs on a charge. Range changes with rider weight, terrain, tyre condition, and how full the batteries are.
What batteries and charger does it use?
Pride specifies two 12-volt NF-22 sealed lead-acid batteries, listed as 50-amp, and a 5-amp off-board charger. Charge the packs with that charger. Ask us before you swap in any other battery type.
What is the indoor turning radius?
Pride lists 22 inches. That is the mid-wheel figure Pride uses for doorways, kitchens, and shop aisles. Overall width is 25.4 inches, so measure the narrowest doorway before you buy.
What seat sizes can I order?
Use Choose Seat Size for 16, 18, or 20 inch, with the matching depth range Pride prints for each width. Measure seated hip width and leave a little room on each side.
Who drives the EVO 614?
The person in the chair, using the joystick. A companion does not push this chair the way they would push a transport chair. Engage the brakes and power down before sitting or standing.
Will it fold into a car trunk?
No. This is a full-size mid-wheel base. Pride lists 25.4 inches wide, 40 inches long, and 255.5 lbs with the seat and batteries. Moving it usually means a van, a lift, or an accessible vehicle.
What is the weight capacity?
Pride lists 300 lbs on the EVO 614. Stay at or under that rating. The 450 lb chair in this family is the EVO 614HD, a different Pride model.
How is this different from a transport chair or a folding travel chair?
A transport chair has small wheels and is pushed by a caregiver. A folding travel power chair is built to break down for a trunk. The EVO 614 is a full-size mid-wheel power chair the person drives with a joystick.
What is the warranty?
For a Canadian purchaser Pride's current insert is 5-year limited on the frame, 2-year limited on electronics and drive motors, and 13-month limited on batteries. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
Can funding help with this chair in Ontario?
Some Ontario routes can help with mobility equipment. Eligibility depends on the person's situation and assessment. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
Who services the chair after delivery?
Westin Healthcare's service and repairs team. Call the shop that set it up. We come to the home or workplace.
Can I rent a power chair before I buy?
Westin Healthcare rents some mobility equipment. Ask us whether a power chair can go out as a rental for your dates. Purchased chairs are delivered on a scheduled date.
