Who this sling is for

Joerns: the Deluxe Standing sling is suitable for standing and supporting. It is not a general-purpose sling. Clients should be assessed for suitability. It will not suit a lift from a horizontal position. The person needs a greater degree of weight-bearing ability than a full-body sling user.

• Standing and toileting on a Hoyer Journey (loop standing sling)
• Users whose clinician named a Hoyer Standing or Deluxe Stand-Aid sling
• Not for people who cannot stand with that level of support

If the person cannot bear that weight, see a full-body loop sling such as the Hoyer Full Back and a floor lift. Do not put this sling on a Drive STSM450. That lift takes Drive slings only.
