Description
The Nexus oNe rollator is Human Care's slim Type 2 indoor rollator with a seat, built on the Dana Douglas Nexus line from Ottawa. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is a 4-wheel rollator with 6 inch wheels. It is not a Type 3 outdoor rollator.
Human Care's March 2026 Canada sheet rates the Nexus oNe at 353 lb (160 kg). Three seat heights sit at 17, 20, and 22 in. The frame weighs 17-17.9 lb (7.7-8.1 kg). A patented cross-fold and cable-free brakes are standard. Human Care prints ADP code AA0001810 on that sheet.
Who this rollator is for
This rollator is for a person who stays at or under the 353 lb rating, fits a 17.3 in (44 cm) grip width, and wants a narrow rollator for small spaces: hallways, store aisles, and apartment lifts. Families usually call us when 8 inch Type 3 frames feel wide indoors and the person still wants a seat.
If you want 8 inch wheels and a Type 3 outdoor frame in the same family, start with the Human Care Nexus 3. If you want another Canadian Type 3, see the Amylior Stella or the Triumph Escape.
- Indoor floors, aisles, and other tight routes
- A cross-fold that stands on its own, bag still on
- Cable-free brakes that have no cables to catch on furniture
Fit and height
Stand with your arms relaxed at your sides and measure from the floor to the crease of your wrist. That number should fall inside the handle range for the seat you pick.
Nexus oNe 17: seat 17 in (47 cm), handles 28.4-31.5 in (72-80 cm). Nexus oNe 20: seat 20 in (51 cm), handles 29-35 in (74-89 cm). Nexus oNe 22: seat 22 in (56 cm), handles 31-38 in (79-97 cm). Width between handles is 17.3 in (44 cm) on all three. We set the height at delivery.
Wheels, brakes, and folding
The Nexus oNe uses 6 x 1.2 in wheels. Human Care calls it primarily indoor. The same 6 inch size still rolls in a store aisle or an airport, and it is not the 8 inch Type 3 wheel on the Nexus 3.
Brakes are cable-free, with anatomic handles and a red visual ball. The patented cross-fold (side-fold X frame) stands independently when folded, even with the soft zippered bag on. You can also fold it part way to pass a narrow door. The padded backrest flips for two-position seating.
Weight and portability
Human Care prints 17 lb (7.7 kg) on the 17 inch, 17.4 lb (7.9 kg) on the 20 inch, and 17.9 lb (8.1 kg) on the 22 inch. Overall width is 23 in (58 cm). That is a slim indoor frame that still needs a trunk, not a coat closet hook.
The soft zippered bag folds with the rollator and is rated 11 lb (5 kg). Human Care also lists a tray (4.4 lb), a hard basket (10 lb), a cane holder, a cup holder, and a curb climber. Ask us if you want those.
Nexus oNe specifications
These figures are for the Human Care neXus oNe Canada sheet dated March 2026, parts 490017, 490020, and 490022. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use the sheet when they fight, including the leftover 8 inch caster line and the leftover Type 3 label.
Capacity 353 lb (160 kg). Seats 17, 20, and 22 in. Wheels 6 x 1.2 in. Overall width 23 in. Width between handles 17.3 in. Official article numbers on the current sheet are Black. Warranty for a Canadian purchaser follows Human Care Canada's rollator statement: 5 years on the frame for the Nexus series, 1 year on distributed parts. Wear items sit outside that term. Human Care asks for a yearly authorized-dealer inspection to keep the term.
Nexus oNe or Nexus 3
The Nexus oNe is the indoor Type 2 with 6 inch wheels and a 353 lb rating. The Nexus 3 is the Type 3 sibling with 8 inch wheels, a 441 lb rating, and Black, Blue, or Red. Both use the same cross-fold and cable-free brakes. Pick the oNe for tight indoor routes. Pick the 3 when sidewalks and 8 inch wheels matter.
Funding help for a walker or rollator in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and the aid is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every model qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a rollator first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased rollators are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
This rollator is larger than small parcel goods. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the rollator is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Human Care manufacturer warranty
Human Care Canada's current rollator statement covers the original purchaser for 5 years on the Nexus frame and 1 year on distributed parts. Wear from regular use sits outside that term. Human Care asks that an authorized dealer inspect the rollator each year. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
