Who this sling is for

Joerns: this sling is suitable for the vast majority of patients. It is not suitable for double amputees or for lifting from a horizontal position. It is a loop sling, not a clip sling, and not a sit-to-stand sling.

Sizing

Joerns colour bands on the Hoyer sling chart are the sizing source. Confirm with a clinician or our staff before the first use.

Joerns also lists padded Quickfit Deluxe as NA1050P / NA1053P / NA1056P. Those padded SKUs are not on the fabric picker we stock. Every standard size shares the 500 lb sling SWL. A Hoyer Advance still limits the transfer to 341 lb.

Attachment and compatible lifts

This is a loop sling for a six-point Hoyer bar. Coloured loops are for positioning. Joerns: if in doubt, attach to the coloured loops. That is a hook-up tip, not a size-up rule.

Do not hang it on a Drive Levantar or Gravis. More Hoyer loop slings sit in universal slings and full-body slings.
