Description

The Ezee Life 15 inch tilt shower commode HL155 is Healthline's narrow aluminum attendant-tilt rehab chair for homes and clinics in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The attendant tilts the seat 20° posterior. Ezee Life rates the HL155 at 286 lb (130 kg).

This is the 15 in member of the Ezee Life HL tilt ladder. The 18 in chair is the HL190. The 20 in chair is the HL195. For a 40° stainless tilt, use the Raz AT.

Who this tilt shower commode is for

This chair is for a smaller adult, teen, or large child who needs an attendant to push and tilt an aluminum shower commode, stays at or under 286 lb, and fits a 15 in by 15 in seat. Healthline writes the 150/155 pair that way. Westin does not give medical advice.

  • 20° posterior tilt on an aluminum frame
  • 15 in by 15 in (38 by 38 cm) seat, 286 lb (130 kg)
  • Four 5 in locking casters; optional 22 in rear wheels

Tilt, height, and toilet clearance

Ezee Life's tilt-rehab brochure prints a 20° posterior tilt on the 155, 190, and 195. That is the maker table. Seat and back tilt together. The headrest moves up, down, forward, and back.

Seat height is 21, 22, or 23 in (53, 56, or 58 cm) on standard casters. Toilet clearance (pail rail to floor) is 18, 19, or 20 in (46, 48, or 51 cm). Long-stem casters raise both bands by 2 in. Come into a Brampton or Toronto store if you want the bowl checked on the floor.

  • Chair weight 33.9 lb (15.4 kg) on four 5 in casters
  • 45.2 lb (20.5 kg) with the 22 in self-propel wheels
  • Overall width 19 in (48 cm) on casters, 24 in (61 cm) on 22 in wheels

Design and build

The frame is aluminum. Ezee Life prints "NO RUST" on the family brochure. Seat, back, and arm pads are moulded foam. Arms flip back. Footrests swing away, 14 to 20 in (36 to 51 cm), 60° hangers. Anti-tippers and a seat belt are on the standard-features list. Adjustments are tool-free. A slide-on pail and a removable seat insert ship with the chair.

Rear wheel options

Use Rear Wheel Options to pick 5 in Rear Casters or 22 in Rear Wheels. Healthline prints 22 in wheels on 15 in commodes, not 24 in. The 22 in pair is the self-propel build with quick-release axles.

Ezee Life 15" Tilt Rehab Shower Commode HL155 specifications

These figures are from Healthline's Ezee Life tilt-rehab brochure spec table. The specification tab holds the stored values. Use the brochure when they fight.

Weight capacity 286 lb (130 kg). Tilt 20° posterior. Seat 15 in by 15 in (38 by 38 cm). Seat height 21, 22, or 23 in. Back height 18 in. Arm height 11 in from the seat. One-year full term and two-year frame term as printed on that brochure.

The HL size ladder: 15, 18, or 20 inch

Stay on the HL155 if a 15 in tilt shower commode at 286 lb is the fit. Step to the HL190 for an 18 in by 17 in seat at 300 lb. Step to the HL195 for a 20 in by 17 in seat at 325 lb. Tilt stays 20° posterior across the three.

For a 40° stainless tilt, use the Raz AT. For a 30° custom-width stainless tilt, use the Maple Leaf Tilt Commode. For a fixed attendant shower commode, use the Raz AP.

Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada's Home and Vehicle Modification Program, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA

Westin's own team delivers this Ezee Life HL155 across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, set the seat height, and show you the tilt, caster locks, and pail before we leave.

We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see the chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.

Tilt shower commodes are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Frequently asked questions

How Much Does The Ezee Life HL155 Tilt?

The Ezee Life 15 inch tilt shower commode HL155 tilts 20° posterior on Healthline's spec table. That figure is the same on the HL190 and HL195. Dealer cards that print 33° do not match the maker table.

What Is The Weight Capacity Of The HL155?

The Ezee Life HL155 is rated at 286 lb (130 kg) on Healthline's tilt-rehab brochure. Stay at or under that rating.

What Is The Difference Between HL155, HL190, And HL195?

The Ezee Life HL155 is the 15 in by 15 in chair at 286 lb. The HL190 is 18 in by 17 in at 300 lb. The HL195 is 20 in by 17 in at 325 lb. Tilt stays 20° posterior on all three.

Can A Shower Commode Go Over A Toilet?

The Ezee Life HL155 is printed for over-toilet use. Healthline prints toilet clearance of 18, 19, or 20 in (46, 48, or 51 cm) from the pail rail to the floor on standard casters. Measure the bowl before you order.

Does The HL155 Have Optional Rear Wheels?

The Ezee Life HL155 can be ordered with 22 in rear wheels on Rear Wheel Options. Healthline prints 22 in wheels on 15 in commodes, not 24 in. Standard is four 5 in locking casters.

Does ADP Cover Tilt Shower Commodes?

Funding for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario depends on the person and the program. Talk to us before you buy. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page and we will point you to the right path for your case.

Who Is The 15 Inch Seat For?

The Ezee Life HL155 uses a 15 in by 15 in seat. Healthline writes the 150/155 pair for small adults, teens, and large children. Measure hip width before you pick this chair over the HL190.

Can I Rent A Tilt Shower Commode In The GTA?

Westin Healthcare rents bathroom safety equipment for short-term needs in the GTA. See the rentals hub and call (905) 451-7743 to check what is on the floor. A rental chair may be a different model than this HL155.
