Drive Sit to Stand Sling

The Drive 13263 sit-to-stand sling is a padded nylon standing sling with two loop points. Westin Healthcare sells Medium (13263E) and Large (13263F) in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Drive's sit-to-stand flyer prints a 400 lb capacity and says a chain or extra strap is not required.

This sling is only for a Drive sit-to-stand lift. A person who cannot support most of their own weight needs a full-body sling and a floor lift, not this product. Confirm the size and the lift with a clinician or our staff before the first use.

Who this sling is for

Drive's STSM450 owner manual says the person must be able to support the majority of their own weight. The sling is for standing, transferring, and toileting support on that class of Drive lift. It is not a general-purpose full-body sling. It is not a Hoyer standing sling.

Sizing

Drive's sit-to-stand flyer prints two sling sizes. Confirm the size with a clinician or our staff before the first use.

Drive also lists 13263H as a sit-to-stand buttock strap, 71" long, 400 lb. That is a strap, not an Extra Large sling. It is not sold as a third sling size.

Attachment and compatible lifts

This is a loop sling with two sling points. Drive's sit-to-stand training shows colour loops pulled fully onto the hooks. The STSM450 manual says the caregiver must use only two hooks at one time, as a pair.

The only Westin lift this sling is sold to match is the Drive STSM450 sit-to-stand lift (450 lb). That lift's manual says Drive slings only. Do not put 13263 on a Hoyer Journey. Joerns requires Hoyer Standing or Transport slings on Journey.

Care and laundering

Inspect the pads, chest belt, and loops before every lift. Do not use the sling if stitching is worn. Drive's flyer does not print a wash temperature. Follow the care label sewn on the sling.

Westin's own team can deliver this sling across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. If you buy it with a Drive sit-to-stand lift, we bring both in, fit the sling on the hooks, and show you the loop attachment before we leave.

Drive's sit-to-stand flyer does not print a warranty term. Our spec tab stores a 6 month limited warranty. We handle the claim with you.

Does the sling come with the Drive sit-to-stand lift?
