This is an arm-support sling, not a seated full-body transfer sling. If the person needs to move from bed to chair, start with the Handicare Universal Sling or the Savaria Deluxe Bariatric Sling. If you need a wrap strap or a quilted band that can hold an arm or a leg, those are different lines: the Medcare Limb Sling and the Handicare Band Sling.
Who this sling is for
This sling is for a plus-size person who needs one arm held at a working height so staff can wash the underarm, dress a wound, or keep the limb supported during a procedure. The instructions put the curved edge toward the underarm, wrap the panel around the arm, and raise the lift until the arm sits at the height the task needs. It is used in acute care, long-term care, and the home. It is not a sit-to-stand sling and it is not a hygiene sling with a commode opening.

Two strap loops sit on the other. The caregiver wraps the panel around the arm, feeds the long straps through those loops, and hangs both loops on the carry bar. A lift, a carry bar, and a second sling are not in the carton.

This is a loop sling. The two strap loops seat on a loop carry-bar hook. The instructions also allow a standard coat-hanger spreader bar. It does not use clip fasteners or Human Care E-clip / mushroom bars. If the bar is an E-clip, see the Human Care Full Body Sling E-clip instead.
The finished system is limited by the lowest rating among the lift, the carry bar, and the sling. The sling is rated 352 lb. The person's arm load, plus the sling, must stay inside that figure and inside the lift's own safe working load.

Care and laundering
Wash at 95 C / 203 F with a non-biological detergent. Tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 C. Close any hook-and-loop before the wash. Do not iron. Do not dry the sling on a heater or a steam pipe. Inspect loops, straps, sliders, seams, and the label after every wash. Remove the sling from use if anything is worn, torn, or if the label cannot be read.

How is this different from the Supreme Pannus or Supreme Leg slings?
Pannus holds the abdominal apron. Leg holds a lower limb for hygiene and wound care. This article holds one arm and opens the underarm. They are siblings in the Supreme range, not the same sling.
Does it fit a C450 or A450?
Yes, as a loop sling on the C-Series or A-Series carry-bar hooks, when the working load stays inside 352 lb and inside that motor's own rating. The Carina 350 also takes loop slings; that pair is limited to 350 lb.
Can it move a person from bed to chair?
No. It holds one arm. For a seated transfer, use a full-support loop sling such as the Handicare Universal Sling or the Deluxe Bariatric Sling.
