Description
Axiom Positioning Hardware is Ki Mobility's hardware-mounted seating and positioning line for Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. These pieces do not need custom construction. They complement a seating system already on the chair. This is a quote-only accessory family, specified with the wheelchair through the ADP assessment, not sold as a last-minute cart extra.
Ki groups the line as seat and back hardware, laterals, head and arm supports, and drop seats. A seating therapist names each piece. We do not invent a style picker.
Which chairs this fits
Ki does not print a chair-by-chair fit list. Hardware is ordered to the wheelchair frame and the seating already specified. Confirm the chair, the back, and the tubing with Westin before you order. Pair these pieces with an Axiom PL Back, an Axiom CS system, or a Little Wave chair such as the Clik when the assessment calls for both.
- Drop seats: 7/8 in or 1 in seat tubing, 3 in narrower than the frame, frames 12 to 20 in
- Headrest pads: contour, tri-pad, comfort soft, and tri-soft families
- Laterals: pelvic/thigh, trunk, medial thigh, knee adductors
Axiom Positioning Hardware specifications
These figures are from Ki Mobility's current Axiom Hardware card and the Axiom Positioning sizing guide. The specification tab holds the stored values. We do not invent a component picker on this page.
Card families: Seat, Seat/Back Hardware, Lateral Pelvic/Thigh, Lateral Trunk, Medial Thigh, Lateral Knee Adductors, Head Support, Arm Support, Drop Seat. Drop-seat bases in the sizing guide run on 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 inch frames, with base widths 3 inches narrower than the frame (9 to 17 inches). Ki prints that drop seats fit 7/8 inch or 1 inch seat tubing and come off for folding and transport. Headrest pads include contour positioning sizes 8 x 6 1/4, 9 x 6 1/2, and 10 x 7 1/2 inches. All sizing-guide dimensions are plus or minus 1/4 inch.
No dedicated owner manual is linked on the live card. Ask us for the insert that ships with the order.

Frequently asked questions
What Does The Axiom Hardware Line Cover?
Axiom Positioning Hardware covers seat and back mounts, lateral pelvic/thigh and trunk pads, medial thigh pads, knee adductors, head supports, arm supports, and drop seats. A seating therapist names the piece.
Will This Fit My Wheelchair?
Ki does not print a model-by-model chair list. Drop seats are written for 7/8 inch or 1 inch seat tubing on 12 to 20 inch frames. Westin checks the chair and the existing back before we order.
Is This Ordered Through ADP?
Axiom Positioning Hardware is configured with the wheelchair through the ADP assessment when the person qualifies. Talk to us before you buy. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page.
How Wide Is A Drop Seat?
Ki prints drop-seat bases 3 inches narrower than the wheelchair frame. A 16 inch frame uses a 13 inch base. Depths on the sizing guide run 12 to 20 inches depending on the part.
Are These The Same As CS Laterals?
No. Axiom CS is the custom linear seating system. Axiom Positioning Hardware is the stock hardware-mounted accessory line. A therapist may use either. They are not the same page.
Can I See Axiom Hardware In Brampton?
Westin Healthcare can show Axiom positioning in the Brampton and Toronto stores and deliver across the GTA. Call (905) 451-7743.
