How it lifts

The CARLO Classic is an electric floor lift. The caregiver opens the powered legs, attaches an approved loop sling to the carry bar, and uses the hand control to raise the boom. Beka says a person who has fallen can be lifted from the floor by one trained staff member with this bar lowered to the floor. That is Beka's floor-pickup line, not a promise that every transfer is a one-person job. We will still assess the person and the room with you.

Savaria lists this lift for transfers, toileting, bathing, and showering. The low frame is meant to go under baths and care beds.

Slings and spreader bar

This SKU is listed as a six-point spreader bar for slings with loops. Savaria says the CARLO Classic is suitable for all loop slings and publishes a loop-style quick start. Beka's German Classic 185 brochure prints a four-point loop bar. We will treat SKU 924003218 as the loop-bar Classic and will not sell it as a clip lift unless you ask for a clip conversion. The sling is sold separately. Start with our full-body slings or universal slings, and we will confirm a loop sling Beka or Savaria accepts on this bar.
