What you get with this shower chair

Leon is a non-folding aluminum shower chair with an extra-wide PUR foam seat and back, a lockable hygiene opening, and a 3D headrest. The hand control raises and lowers the seat and tilts it up to 25 degrees. There is no separate backrest motor. That extra 30 degree backrest is James, not Leon.

Charge the lithium-ion battery about 6 hours before first use, with the emergency stop released. The charger uses a magnetic plug. Do not use the chair while it is charging. The motors are self-locking, so the seat is not supposed to drop if power fails. Lock all four braked castors before a transfer or a shower. Beka says not to leave the person unattended.

Which lifts this chair works with

Beka prints compatibility with NORA and CARLO. The Leon IFU shows a transfer onto the chair from a NORA sit-to-stand and from a CARLO floor lift. Lower the chair, set the seat level, lock all four brakes, and keep the leg rest clear of the lift frame. We already sell the Nora Alu, the Nora Pro, and the CARLO Classic.

Leon is still a shower chair, not a lift. The lift and the sling stay on their own pages. The installed working load is the lowest rating among the lift, the sling, and this 230 kg chair.

If you need 55 degrees of recline for hygiene access, use James. If 150 kg is enough and you want the lighter everyday chair, use Milo.

Beka manufacturer warranty

Beka and Savaria do not print a year split on the current Leon brochure or the Milo and Leon IFU we used. Unauthorized repairs or non-original parts void the warranty. Ask us for the Beka terms that ship with your serial number. Authorized Beka service keeps that warranty in force. We handle the claim with you. Yes. Beka names NORA and CARLO. The IFU shows both transfers. We already sell the Nora Alu, Nora Pro, and CARLO Classic. Lock the castors and keep the leg rest clear of the lift.
