What you get
You get the AVERO Comfort height-adjustable bathtub, the closed outer casing, the two lifting columns, a wired cable remote, the thermostatic mixer, the faucet, and the hand shower. The inner body is glass-fibre reinforced plastic with recessed armrests and chrome grab handles. Beka prints scalding protection on the hand shower and the tub spout. A lift and a sling are not in the crate.
Lower the tub so the person can step in or so a lift can reach the rim. Lock the transfer aid, then raise the tub to a working height. Fill from the mixer or from the fill key on the remote. Drain at the overflow tappet. Disinfect the tub after each bath; it is not suitable for sterilisation.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers this bathtub across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, place it in the room, and show you the hand control before we leave. A licensed plumber and electrician complete the water and power connections, as Beka's US and Canada manual requires.

Care bathtubs are oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the tub is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Same-day delivery belongs to the rental service for lifts and beds, not to a purchased bathtub.
Which lifts this bathtub works with
Comfort is freely accessible from two sides and suits patient lifts, with the Beka CARLO and NORA as the matching team. Use a mobile lift or an overhead lift when the person cannot step in, and watch pinch points on that transfer.
We already sell those lifts. Use the Beka CARLO Classic for a full-body loop-sling transfer into the tub. Use the Beka Nora when the person can stand for a short time with support. Use the Handicare C450 when the wet room already has a rail. The sling belongs to the lift, not to this tub. Start at full-body slings for CARLO or the C450, or sit-to-stand slings for Nora.
If the assessment named AVERO Motion, go to the AVERO Motion bathtub. If it named Premium Plus, go to the AVERO Premium Plus bathtub. Those are different tubs.

Beka manufacturer warranty
Beka warranty terms ship with each serial number; ask us for the terms on your order. The expected useful life is about 8 years with an annual safety check, and unauthorised work or non-original parts void cover. Authorized Beka service keeps that warranty in force. How do you fill and drain the tub?
Fill from the thermostatic mixer or from the fill key on the remote. If automatic water stop is on the quote, filling stops at the set level. Drain at the overflow tappet. Check the water temperature by hand, without gloves, or with a thermometer before the person gets in.
How do I clean it?
Use a soft cloth with soapy water or a standard plastic cleaner. Do not use abrasives. Disinfect after each bath. The tub is not for sterilisation, and aggressive cleaners void surface claims.
