The Travel Buggy Grand Tourer travels up to 25 km (15.5 miles) per charge on one Li-Ion 24 V / 12 Ah pack. Range changes with the person's weight, the ground, battery condition, and how much you stop and start.
Top speed is 6 km/h (3.7 mph). Soft, Normal, and Sport change how quickly the chair answers the joystick. The spare-battery card prints a 6 to 7 hour charge and a 4.9 lb pack. The charger Travel Buggy sells for this chair is 24V 2A, 100-240V. Charge with the charger that ships with the chair.
Portability and transport
The Grand Tourer front-folds and locks shut. Folded size on the current card is 29.5 by 23.6 by 13.8 inches. Travel Buggy prints built-in loading wheels that cut the lifting weight by up to 33 percent, with two angles for a sedan or an SUV. After the fold you can also tow the chair on its rear wheels from the footrest.
Travel Buggy prints Airline Approved Battery on the Grand Tourer spec table. Air Canada and WestJet still set their own rules. Ask the airline before you book. We only repeat what Travel Buggy prints. A Grand Tourer flight kit is sold separately. The owner manual says not to use the chair as a seat in a moving vehicle.
