Description
The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma rollator is Evolution Technologies' 18 lb (8.2 kg) centre-folding 4-wheel walker with cable-free brakes and 8 in (20 cm) polyurethane tires. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It is the Tacoma colourway of the Xpresso Series. It is not a Lite and not a Zero.
Evolution's live USA Tacoma table and Canada Xpresso Series sheet list Mini, Regular, and Tall at 350 lb (159 kg). Colours for the Tacoma are Gentian Blue and Titanium Grey.
Who this rollator is for
This rollator is for a person who wants a rollator with seat canada shoppers pick when they want the full 18 lb Xpresso, PU tires, and no hanging brake cables. Families usually call us when 15 lb EVA Lite feels light in the hands but thin on the tire, and they still want the X-fold.
If you want 15 lb, see the Xpresso Lite or the Lite Cable-Free. If you want a quilted seat, see the Xpresso Zero. If you need 450 lb, see the Xpresso Wide HD.
- 18 lb frame with 8 in PU tires
- Cable-free brakes and a stay-on folding basket
- Gentian Blue or Titanium Grey in Mini, Regular, and Tall
Fit and height
Stand in everyday walking shoes with your arms relaxed and match the wrist crease to the handle range. Evolution's Tacoma page says Mini is for people under 5 ft 4 in, Regular from 5 ft 4 in to 5 ft 11 in, and Tall at 5 ft 11 in and up. Confirm the wrist crease, not just height.
Mini handles run 30.5-33.5 in (77.5-85.1 cm). Regular 30.5-34.5 in (77.5-87.6 cm). Tall 33.5-40 in (85.1-101.6 cm). Seat height is 18, 21, or 24 in. Use Choose Seat Height to pick those three.
Wheels, brakes, and folding
The Tacoma uses 8 in extra-wide polyurethane tires. Brakes are cable-free: Evolution runs the stop inside the handle so there is no hanging cable to catch on a door or a coat. Handle height is easy to set because there is no cable to re-route.
The frame is an X-style centre fold. Evolution designed the basket to stay on when the walker folds. Lock both brakes on flat ground before you sit. Evolution's Tacoma FAQ and warranty card say not to sit while the rollator is moving, and not to use it as a wheelchair.
Weight and portability
Every Tacoma size weighs 18 lb (8.2 kg) on Evolution's sheets, without accessories, backstrap, or basket. Overall size is 22.5 by 26 in (57.2 by 66.0 cm). That is 3 lb heavier than Lite and about 1-2 lb heavier than Zero. The fold is the same one-motion X close.
Evolution Xpresso Tacoma specifications
These figures are for the Evolution Xpresso Tacoma as printed on Evolution's live USA size table and the Canada Xpresso Series sheet. The specification tab holds the stored values. An older Tacoma CDN sheet prints Mini and Regular at 300 lb. Live tables print 350 lb all sizes. We use 350 lb.
Seat 18 in (45.7 cm) wide. Wheels 8 in PU. Capacity 350 lb (159 kg) in Mini, Regular, and Tall. Colours for the Tacoma: Gentian Blue and Titanium Grey. The Canada Xpresso Series card in Red, Blue, and Black is the same platform in other colours.
Warranty follows Evolution's wheeled-walker card: lifetime limited on the frame and metal, 5 years on the braking system excluding normal wear, 1 year on the basket, handle grips, back rest, and other plastic parts, and 6 months on the tires excluding normal wear. Register within 14 days.
Colour, size, and accessories
Use Choose Seat Height to pick Mini (18 in), Regular (21 in), or Tall (24 in). Use Choose Color to pick Gentian Blue or Titanium Grey. Use Accessories to add a cane holder, phone holder, or cup holder if you want those Evolution add-ons on the order.
Lite, Zero, Tacoma, or Wide HD
Tacoma is the 18 lb PU-tire Xpresso in Blue or Grey. The Lite and Lite Cable-Free are 15 lb with EVA tires. The Zero is the quilted-seat Xpresso. The Wide HD is the 20 in, 450 lb Xpresso. Choose Tacoma when you want the full Xpresso tire and the Tacoma colours.
Funding help for a walker or rollator in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and the aid is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every model qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers and sets up this rollator across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, unfold it, set the handle height, and show you the brakes and the fold before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a rollator with a seat first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased rollators are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
If the rollator is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Evolution manufacturer warranty
Evolution's current wheeled-walker card, for the original purchaser who registers within 14 days, is lifetime limited on the frame and metal components, 5 years on the braking system excluding normal wear, 1 year on the basket, handle grips, back rest, and other plastic parts, and 6 months on the tires excluding normal wear. Evolution voids the warranty if the walker is used to push open doors, hit curbs, or used as a wheelchair. We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
Frequently asked questions
How Do I Choose a Rollator Height?
The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma Regular handles adjust from 30.5-34.5 in (77.5-87.6 cm). Evolution's Tacoma page puts Mini under 5 ft 4 in, Regular from 5 ft 4 in to 5 ft 11 in, and Tall at 5 ft 11 in and up. Still match the wrist crease in walking shoes.
Walker Vs Rollator: Which Is Better?
The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma is a rollator: four wheels, hand brakes, and a seat. A standard walker has no seat and is lifted with each step. Choose Tacoma when the person can squeeze brakes and wants an 18 lb X-fold with PU tires. Evolution says not to use it as a wheelchair.
Does ADP Cover Rollators?
Some Ontario routes can help with a walker or rollator when the need is long-term and an assessment supports it. Eligibility depends on the person's situation. Call (905) 451-7743 or use the funding page before you buy.
How Much Does the Xpresso Tacoma Weigh?
The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma weighs 18 lb (8.2 kg) in Mini, Regular, and Tall on Evolution's sheets. That figure excludes the basket and accessories.
What Is the Weight Capacity of the Xpresso Tacoma?
The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma is rated at 350 lb (159 kg) in Mini, Regular, and Tall on Evolution's live USA table and Canada Xpresso Series sheet. Stay at or under that rating.
Will This Rollator Fit in a Car?
The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma uses Evolution's X-style centre fold. Overall size is 22.5 by 26 in before the fold. The basket stays on. We can walk through the fold at delivery.
Is the Tacoma the Same as the Xpresso Lite?
No. The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma is the 18 lb PU-tire Xpresso Series in Gentian Blue or Titanium Grey. The Lite is 15 lb with EVA tires. They share the X-fold, not the weight, the tire, or the colours.
Can I Use the Tacoma Outdoors?
Evolution fits the Xpresso Tacoma with 8 in extra-wide polyurethane tires for indoor floors, sidewalks, and mixed ground. Lock the brakes before you sit, and do not use the frame to shove doors or climb curbs.
Does the Tacoma Have Cable-Free Brakes?
Yes. The Evolution Xpresso Tacoma uses cable-free brakes. Evolution designed that so cables do not catch on doors or clothes, and so handle height is easier to set.
How Do I Sit on the Tacoma Seat?
Lock both Evolution Xpresso Tacoma brakes, keep the rollator on flat ground, and sit only when it is parked. Evolution's Tacoma FAQ says never sit while the rollator is moving, and never use it as a wheelchair.
