Description
The Switch-It Dual Pro is a truly proportional head array for a power wheelchair. Left and right pads can be set to different force and sensitivity so a stronger side does not overdrive a weaker one. This control is configured with the power wheelchair through the seating clinic and the ADP process. Westin Healthcare quotes it on a Quickie or Zippie order for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Sunrise prints a 6.5 by 4 inch back pad, 5 by 2 inch side pads, a 10 mm proximity range, and programming from the back pad while the person is in the chair. It can run as a proportional control (force), a switched control (distance from the sensor), or both.
What this control does
Like a gas pedal and a steering wheel, the Dual Pro offers a full range of acceleration and deceleration, 360 degree turning, and veer control. Dealers and clinicians program it from the back pad in the field. Mode switches include flex sensors on a gooseneck or a swing-away egg switch. Square-tube headrest hardware is included.
Sunrise lists PGDrive, Curtis, and DX systems. That is broader than the joystick pages, which name R-Net and Q-Logic only. The clinic confirms the chair electronics before we order.
Who it suits
The Dual Pro suits a person who drives with the head and needs analog speed, not just on/off pads. If zero-touch proximity pads are enough, see the Switched Head Arrays. If the person cannot stay inside a chair-mounted array, see the Vigo headset. Joystick users stay on the MicroGuide or VersaGuide.

Dual Pro or switched array
The Dual Pro is the analog head array. The Switched Head Arrays are zero-touch proximity pads (HDR-4M or HDR-5). The Vigo is a wireless headset that rides on the person. Pair them with a live Q700 M or Q700-UP M.
Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers this control with the power wheelchair it is configured on, across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area, after the seating clinic has set the order. We bring the chair in, check the pads, and show you drive and mode before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a control on a floor chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
