Description
Switch-It Buttons and Switches is Sunrise's assortment of single pads and levers for a power wheelchair. They feed a drive control, a seating box, or another access need. This is not one SKU in a box. The clinic picks the pad, the colour, and the mount. These controls are configured with the power wheelchair through the seating clinic and the ADP process. Westin Healthcare quotes them on a Quickie or Zippie order for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
Sunrise's Canada page lists a 2.5 inch single, a 1 inch single, a Micro Light, a Spec Switch, Mini Buttons in 1 / 2 / 4, an Egg Switch, a Wobble Switch, and a pointer to the CTRL Plus 5. Forces run from 0.4 oz (11.3 g) on the Micro Light to 5 oz (142 g) on the 2.5 inch pad.
What these controls do
Each pad is a single input. Cables are 4.5 to 6 feet with a 1/8 inch mono plug, except the CTRL Plus 5, which uses an R-Net bus. The 2.5 inch, 1 inch, Micro Light, Spec, Mini, Egg, and Wobble switches give a click the person can feel or hear. The Egg is sealed against spills. The Wobble fires from a 360 degree swipe or a push into the base, then springs back.
Colours vary by pad (black, green, red, blue, yellow, orange on the singles). Mounts include a universal plate or a Micro Light plate. They are the accessories that sit on a Cool Cube, a head array mode jack, or an Omni port.
Who they suit
These pads suit a person who can hit one target with a finger, a knuckle, the head, or a gross swipe, and who needs that target next to a joystick, a tray, or a head array. If the need is a full seating box with voice, go to the CTRL Plus 5 page. If the need is a proportional stick, start with the MicroGuide or VersaGuide.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA
Westin's own team delivers these pads with the power wheelchair they are configured on, across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area, after the seating clinic has set the order. We bring the chair in, check each pad, and show you the click before we leave.
We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a pad on a floor chair first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased chairs are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.
If the chair is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.
