The Interstate SLA1104 battery is a 12V 12Ah (20-hour) AGM sealed lead-acid cell with F2 .250 in Faston terminals. Interstate lists it in the General Purpose SLA family. Westin Healthcare sells the single cell in Brampton and can match the terminal before we send a replacement across the Greater Toronto Area.
Who this mobility scooter battery is for
Travel scooters run two 12V cells in series. The Interstate SLA1104 is the 12Ah general-purpose cell in the 5.94 x 3.86 x 3.66 in (151 x 98 x 93 mm) case with F2 tabs. Pride prints a 12Ah pair on the Go-Go LX (US table), Go-Go Ultra X, Go-Go Elite Traveller 2 standard pack, and the SLA Go-Go Folding Scooter. Golden prints 12Ah on the Buzzaround LT and the standard Buzzaround XL. Neither maker prints the SLA1104 code. The tabs must be F2 .250 in.

- Choose the Interstate DCM0012 when you want Interstate's Deep Cycle Mobility 12Ah F2 cell
- Choose an 18Ah cell only when the old stamp and the scooter maker both say 18Ah
This is not a U1 battery. The Golden Buzzaround LX and Pride Victory / Revo families use U1 (about 31-36Ah), not this 12Ah case. It is not a 7-9Ah stairlift cell. If the old battery is 2.56 in wide, see the Interstate SLA1075.
Terminals, chemistry, and size
Interstate's current General Purpose table prints SLA1104 as 12V 12Ah, 5.94 in long, 3.86 in wide, 3.66 in high, F2. The 6/19 one-pager adds 7.28 lb (3.3 kg), height with terminal 3.98 in (101 mm), float 13.7-13.9V, cycle 14.6-14.8V, and a 3.6A maximum charge current. Chemistry is lead acid AGM, VRLA, maintenance-free. Interstate prints "approved for all modes of transport" on that sheet. Sibling SLA1105 is the same case with F1 .187 in tabs. A harness made for F2 will not clip onto F1.
SLA, AGM, gel, and the size ladder
Interstate SLA1104 is AGM, not gel. Gel in the larger mobility size is the Interstate GEL0055. The mobility deep-cycle twin in this 12Ah Faston class is the DCM0012. Step up to 18Ah with the SLA1116 (nut-and-bolt) or DCM0018 (insert). Group 22NF and group 24 packs are a different case altogether.
Interstate SLA1104 specifications
These figures are for the Interstate SLA1104. The specification tab should name SKU SLA1104: 12V, 12Ah at the 20-hour rate, 5.94 x 3.86 x 3.66 in (151 x 98 x 93 mm), F2 .250 in Faston, 7.28 lb (3.3 kg) on the 6/19 sheet, lead acid AGM. Interstate does not print a scooter-year life or a list of Pride or Golden models on that sheet.

The current Westin specification line for this cell is a 1-year limited warranty. Interstate's 6/19 sheet does not print a year term. We handle the claim with you.
Frequently asked questions
What battery does my scooter take?
The Interstate SLA1104 is a 12V 12Ah F2 AGM cell. Pride prints 12Ah on the Go-Go LX (US table), Ultra X, Elite Traveller 2 standard pack, and the SLA folding scooter. Golden prints 12Ah on the Buzzaround LT and standard XL. Confirm F2 tabs. Victory, Revo, and Buzzaround LX use U1 cells, not this case.
Do I need two batteries for a scooter?
Yes. A 24V travel scooter uses two 12V batteries in series. The Interstate SLA1104 is sold as one cell. Replace both cells together.
How long do mobility scooter batteries last?
Interstate does not print a year life for SLA1104 in scooter service. When range falls off after a full charge, replace both 12V cells and use the 2A charger Pride lists on those travel scooters.
Can I replace scooter batteries myself?
Pride travel scooters with a drop-in box are written so a dealer or a careful owner can swap the pair from that scooter's owner manual. Westin can do the swap. Match the red and black leads and do not short the F2 tabs.
What is the difference between F1 and F2 terminals?
F1 is .187 in. F2 is .250 in. The Interstate SLA1104 is F2. SLA1105 is the F1 twin in the same case. The tabs are not interchangeable.
Is this a stairlift battery?
No. Handicare, Savaria, and Access consumer pages do not print SLA1104. The common stairlift case in this shop is 5.94 x 2.56 in (7-9Ah), not this 3.86 in wide 12Ah cell.
Is SLA1104 the same as DCM0012?
No. Both are 12V 12Ah F2 AGM. SLA1104 is Interstate General Purpose. DCM0012 is Interstate Deep Cycle Mobility and is a slightly taller case. Choose DCM0012 when you want the mobility deep-cycle series.
