The Interstate SLA1075 battery is a 12V 8Ah (20-hour) AGM sealed lead-acid cell with F1 .187 in Faston terminals. Interstate lists it in the General Purpose SLA family. Westin Healthcare sells the single cell in Brampton and can match the F1 tabs across the Greater Toronto Area.
Who this battery is for
The Interstate SLA1075 sits in the 5.94 x 2.56 x 3.70 in (151 x 65 x 94 mm) case. Many 24V stairlift chairs use two 12V cells of this footprint in series. Handicare, Savaria, and Access consumer pages print 24V battery power. They do not print SLA1075 or 8Ah. The fitment gate is the F1 .187 in tab plus the 8Ah stamp on the old cell.

Terminals, chemistry, and size
Interstate's General Purpose table prints SLA1075 as 12V 8Ah, 5.94 in long, 2.56 in wide, 3.70 in high, 3.94 in including the terminal, F1. The 6/19 one-pager adds 4.85 lb (2.2 kg), float 13.7-13.9V, cycle 14.6-14.8V, 2.4A maximum charge current, and "approved for all modes of transport". Chemistry is lead acid AGM, VRLA, maintenance-free. Sibling SLA1079 is the same case with F2 tabs.
SLA, AGM, gel, and the size ladder
SLA1075 is AGM, not gel. In this same 5.94 x 2.56 in footprint Westin also sells the 7Ah fire-and-security FAS1075 (F1) and the 9Ah high-rate HSL1079 (F2). Travel-scooter 12Ah cells are wider (about 3.86 in). Group 22NF and group 24 packs are larger still.

When a battery or a stairlift needs work, you call the shop that sold it. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department.
The current Westin specification line for this cell is a 1-year limited warranty. Interstate's 6/19 sheet does not print a year term. We handle the claim with you.

What battery does my stairlift take?
The Interstate SLA1075 is a 12V 8Ah F1 AGM cell in the 5.94 x 2.56 in case. Handicare, Savaria, and Access do not print this code. Match the Ah stamp and the F1 tabs on the old cell, or send us a photo.
What is the difference between F1 and F2 terminals?
F1 is .187 in. F2 is .250 in. The Interstate SLA1075 is F1. The HSL1079 in the same case is F2. The tabs are not interchangeable.
Do I need two batteries?
A 24V stairlift uses two 12V batteries in series. The Interstate SLA1075 is sold as one cell. Replace both cells together.
Is this the Handicare 1100 battery?
No. The Handicare 1100 pair Westin sells is the smaller 12V 2.6Ah F1 TLV1226 cell, not this 8Ah case.
How long do these batteries last?
Interstate does not print a year life for SLA1075 in stairlift service. When the chair slows or the beeps start after a night on charge, replace both 12V cells and keep using the charger that came with the chair.
Can I replace stairlift batteries myself?
Only if the chair maker's manual shows an owner-accessible battery tray. Many chairs need a technician. Westin can change the pair on a visit. Do not short the F1 tabs.
Is SLA1075 the same as FAS1075?
No. Both are F1 in this case. SLA1075 is 8Ah general purpose. FAS1075 is 7Ah Power Patrol fire-and-security.
