Description

The Pride Zero Turn 10 is a mid-size 4 wheel mobility scooter with iTurn dual motors, a 43 in (109 cm) turning radius, and a 400 lb (181 kg) rating. Westin Healthcare can confirm current stock in Brampton before you plan around a new unit, because Pride no longer lists the Zero Turn 10 as a current US model.

Discontinued: Pride has discontinued the Zero Turn 10 and it is no longer sold new. For a stable 4-wheel scooter with a tight turning circle, look at the Pride Victory 10.2 4-Wheel or the Pride Pursuit ES for more range. Call (905) 451-7743 and we will match you to the right current scooter.

Pride's current brochure rates the Zero Turn 10 at up to 7.3 mph (11.7 km/h) at 400 lb, up to 15.9 miles (25.6 km) at 400 lb, and up to 21.2 miles (34.1 km) at 200 lb. Solid 9 in front and 10.75 in rear tires and CTS suspension are the outdoor pair. The heaviest piece when the scooter comes apart is 75 lbs (34 kg).

Who this scooter is for

This 4 wheel mobility scooter is for a person who wants iTurn in a larger platform than the Zero Turn 8, a 400 lb rating, and a stadium seat, and who can lift a 75 lb section. Families usually call us when the Zero Turn 8 feels small and a conventional 4-wheel feels too wide to turn in a store.

If you want the compact iTurn scooter Pride still prints as current, start with the Pride Zero Turn 8. If you want a conventional mid-size 4-wheel without iTurn, see the Pride Victory 10.2 4-Wheel. The Zero Turn 10 is not a travel-airline scooter and it is not a dual-motor trail scooter.

  • 400 lb (181 kg) rating
  • 43 in turning radius
  • 48 in long, 24.25 in wide, 75 lb heaviest piece

Range, speed, and batteries

Pride prints up to 7.3 mph (11.7 km/h) at 400 lb. Range is up to 15.9 miles (25.6 km) at 400 lb and up to 21.2 miles (34.1 km) at 200 lb. The 200 lb figure is a test weight. Eco, everyday, and sport speeds sit on the tiller dial.

The pack is two 40 Ah batteries, 30.25 lbs (13.7 kg) each. The charger is 3.5 amp off-board. Charge until the meter shows full, usually overnight. Lead-acid packs wear with charge cycles; Pride does not print a cycle count here.

Portability and transport

The Pride Zero Turn 10 comes apart. Pride prints a 75 lb (34 kg) heaviest piece. Weight without batteries is 185.8 lbs (84 kg). Weight with batteries is 242.3 lbs (110 kg).

That is a lift or a strong two-person car load, not a light travel scooter. It is not an airline cabin item. Sealed 40 Ah packs can travel as a mobility aid only when the airline agrees in advance. Ask the airline before you book.

Pride Zero Turn 10 specifications

These figures are for the Zero Turn 10, model S710ZT, as Pride prints them on the current brochure and spec table. The specification tab holds the stored values.

Weight capacity 400 lbs (181 kg). Top speed up to 7.3 mph (11.7 km/h) at 400 lb. Range up to 15.9 miles (25.6 km) at 400 lb and 21.2 miles (34.1 km) at 200 lb. Turning radius 43 in (109 cm). Overall length 48 in (122 cm). Overall width 24.25 in (62 cm). Ground clearance 2 in (5 cm) at the motor and 3 in (7.6 cm) at mid-frame. Tires 9 in solid front and 10.75 in solid rear. CTS front and rear. Dual in-line motors. Seat 18 in by 17 in deluxe foldable. Seat-to-ground 23.25 to 24.75 in. Batteries (2) 40 Ah. Charger 3.5 amp off-board. Heaviest piece 75 lbs (34 kg).

Colour and accessories

Use Color (Options) to pick the shroud. Pride's current brochure prints Candy Apple Red and Pearl White. Ask us before you rely on another colour being a factory shroud.

Accessories and Back-Mounted Accessories add a basket, flag, cover, or holder after the scooter itself is chosen.

Zero Turn 10 or a conventional 4-wheel scooter

A conventional 4-wheel scooter such as the Pride Victory 10.2 4-Wheel uses a standard rear drive and a larger turn. The Pride Zero Turn 10 uses iTurn dual motors so the rear wheels can turn against each other. You keep four-wheel stability and a 43 in turn. Choose Zero Turn when store aisles matter and you want the 400 lb platform. Choose a conventional 4-wheel when you want a current mid-size scooter without iTurn.

The Pride Zero Turn 8 is the smaller iTurn sibling: 325 lbs, 37.25 in turn, 22 Ah batteries, 48 lb heaviest piece.

Funding help for a mobility scooter in Ontario

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of a mobility scooter when the need is long-term and the scooter is prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every scooter qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through.

Delivery and setup in Brampton and the GTA

Westin's own team delivers and sets up this scooter across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, assemble it, and show you the tiller, charger, and lights before we leave.

We have three stores in the Brampton and Toronto area if you would rather see a Pride Zero Turn 10 first. For a scheduled in-home setup, call (905) 451-7743 and we will book the next date that works. Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased scooters are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.

This mobility scooter is oversized. The Canada-wide free ground-shipping offer on smaller goods does not apply. If the scooter is going outside the GTA, ask us for a freight quote. Inside Toronto and the GTA, White-Glove Delivery (bring-in, unwrap, test, take packaging away) is described on the shipping policy. Any charge is confirmed on your order.

Service and warranty

When something on the scooter needs work, you call the shop that set it up, not a distant parts desk. Westin Healthcare has a service and repairs department. Our technicians come to the home or workplace.

Pride manufacturer warranty

Pride Canada's scooter warranty insert is lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics, 2 years on drivetrain, and 13 months on batteries from the battery manufacturer. Wear items such as tires, shrouds, and upholstery sit outside that term. We handle the claim with you.

Frequently asked questions

How far can a mobility scooter go?

The Pride Zero Turn 10 travels up to 15.9 miles (25.6 km) at 400 lb and up to 21.2 miles (34.1 km) at 200 lb on Pride's current brochure. Hills, cold weather, and tire condition shorten that figure.

How long to charge a mobility scooter?

The Pride Zero Turn 10 uses a 3.5 amp off-board charger. Leave it on charge until the meter shows full, usually overnight.

Does ADP cover scooters?

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program can help with a power scooter after an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist assesses the person. Westin Healthcare walks you through that route. We cannot promise that a specific person will qualify.

Can I take a mobility scooter on a plane?

The Pride Zero Turn 10 is a mid-size 4-wheel scooter and is not an airline cabin item. Sealed 40 Ah packs may travel as a mobility aid only when the airline agrees in advance.

Can I use a mobility scooter in the rain?

The Pride Zero Turn 10 is not waterproof. Pride's consumer safety guide tells riders to avoid rain, snow, ice, and standing water. Store it inside.

Zero turn vs 4 wheel scooter?

The Pride Zero Turn 10 is a 4-wheel scooter with iTurn dual motors, so it turns in 43 in. A conventional 4-wheel scooter keeps a simpler rear drive and a larger turn. Both have four wheels. The difference is how they turn.

What is the turning radius of a 4 wheel scooter?

The Pride Zero Turn 10 has a 43 in (109 cm) turning radius on Pride's current brochure. That is the mid-size iTurn figure, larger than the Zero Turn 8 and tighter than a full-size Pursuit.

What is the weight capacity?

The Pride Zero Turn 10 is rated at 400 lbs (181 kg). Stay at or under that figure with rider and cargo together.

Is the Zero Turn 10 still made?

Pride no longer lists the Zero Turn 10 as a current US model. Westin Healthcare can confirm whether a unit is still available in Brampton before you plan around it.

What is the warranty?

Pride Canada's scooter insert for the Zero Turn 10 is lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on electronics and drivetrain, and 13 months on batteries. Westin Healthcare processes the claim.
