Description
The Drive PreserveTech raised toilet seat with bidet is Drive's 4 inch (10 cm) water-line riser with an in-seat bidet, SKU RTL12C005-WH for ambient water. Westin Healthcare sells it and delivers it for homes in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. It raises the toilet and rinses with tap water. It is not electric and it has no battery.
Drive's user guide rates the seat at 400 lb (181 kg). Drive At Home writes that it adds 4 inches, fits most standard and elongated toilets, and needs no electricity. A control panel sets pressure and front or back cleansing. Use Choose Seat Style for Ambient Water Temp or Warm & Ambient Water Temp. Warm is Drive SKU RTL12C006-WH and tees into the warm line under the sink.
Who this raised toilet seat is for
This seat is for a person who stays at or under the 400 lb (181 kg) rating and who wants 4 inch of height plus a rinse without wiring a bidet. Families here usually call when they want washroom hygiene help in a Brampton or GTA home and they do not want an electric seat.
If you want height and arms without a bidet, start with the Drive PreserveTech Universal. If you want a locked 5 inch seat, see the Secure Lock.
- 4 inch (10 cm) of added height
- Water-line bidet, no electricity
- Ambient, or warm and ambient
Height and fit
A raised toilet seat adds height on top of the toilet you already have. Drive At Home prints 4 inch on this seat. Drive does not print a knee-to-floor formula. Come into a Brampton or Toronto store and we will put the 4 inch bidet seat next to a 2 inch and a 4 inch AquaSense so the person's feet still reach the floor.
How it attaches and how the water runs
Drive's user guide: lock the seat with the two side clamps, hand tight, no tools on the brackets. Connect the cool hose to the toilet fill line behind the tank. That is the ambient SKU (RTL12C005-WH). The warm SKU (RTL12C006-WH) also tees into the warm supply under the sink. Drive writes: do not connect to a supply above 104 F (40 C). Test temperature and pressure before each use. A wrench may be needed only for the existing supply hose.
This is tap water. It is not an electric bidet and it does not heat water with a plug. PreserveTech is Drive's antimicrobial line. Drive writes that the agent protects the product surface, not people.

Funding help for bathroom safety equipment in Ontario
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Funding that may help instead: March of Dimes Canada's Home and Vehicle Modification Program, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), extended health plans, and community programs. Westin Healthcare's staff work with these programs every week and will point you to the right route for your situation. Visit our funding page or call (905) 451-7743 to talk it through before you buy.
