The Drive free-standing toilet safety rail, item RTL12079, stands around the toilet and does not bolt to the bowl. Westin Healthcare sells it, delivers it, and can assemble it for homes in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Drive prints a 300 lb (136 kg) weight limit, a 9.0 lb (4.1 kg) unit, a 26.5 inch overall width, and 21 inches between arms.
This is Drive RTL12079, not Drive 12029. Drive 12029 is a bariatric shower chair, a different product. RTL12079 is also not the toilet-attached 12001-4 or RTL12000 frame.
Free-standing around the toilet
Drive prints that the rail is free standing around the toilet, that it fits standard and elongated toilets, and that assembly is tool-free using wing nuts. The Drive hangtag calls those fasteners thumb screws. The hangtag steps are: attach each padded handle with two screws, stand each side frame on its base, fix one U-frame horizontal at the bottom and one U-frame vertical with thumb screws, then hang the magazine basket. Check the thumb screws after you move the rail.
Because it stands on the floor, it does not use the 12001-4 toilet bracket and it is not a wall grab bar. Drive does not print stud or anchor steps. Leave a clear floor so the feet sit flat.

Free-standing rail or toilet-attached frame
RTL12079 stands around the toilet. The Drive Toilet Safety Frame and the Drive Toilet Safety Frame with Padded Arms use a bracket on the toilet. Floor rails such as the AquaSense Adjustable Toilet Safety Rails also stand on the floor, but they are an on-floor AquaSense frame at 250 lb, not this Drive rail.

Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not fund bathroom safety equipment, so plan around other routes. Drive manufacturer warranty
Drive's sheet and hangtag for RTL12079 print a Limited Lifetime term for the original consumer purchaser: free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of that purchaser. The hangtag does not cover misuse, negligence, or normal wear, and it does not extend to non-durable parts such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips. We handle the warranty claim with you.
