The ROHO Mosaic cushion is Permobil's entry air cushion for wheelchair comfort, with interconnected large cells and a 315 lb (143 kg) rating. Westin Healthcare fits the six official sizes in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area.

This is Mosaic. It is not the ROHO High Profile skin-protection cushion, and it is not Hybrid Elite SR or Hybrid Select.

Who this cushion is for

The ROHO Mosaic cushion is for a person who wants a simple air cushion for wheelchair comfort. Permobil prints easy setup, a light build, and interconnected large cells. The US card codes it as general use (E2601), not as the High Profile skin-protection line.

A seating therapist should still confirm that Mosaic is enough for the skin-risk level on the assessment. This page does not give clinical positioning advice.

Fit and size

Measure the wheelchair seat, then use Choose Cushion Size. Permobil sells Mosaic in six sizes only:

Thickness is 2.5 to 3 inches (6.4 to 7.6 cm). Weight capacity is 315 lbs (143 kg). If the chair needs a size outside those six, Mosaic is not the product. Look at High Profile or ask us for another ROHO.

Air cells, cover, and care

The ROHO Mosaic cushion is an air cushion for wheelchair use with one set of interconnected large cells. Inflate with the hand pump, then use Permobil's hand check. We show you that check in the home.

Permobil lists a two-way stretch cover or a heavy-duty cover. The cover is part of the size you order. Follow Permobil's wash and patch guides that ship with the cushion.

Which ROHO cushion fits

Stay here if you want the entry air cushion in one of the six Mosaic sizes. The ROHO High Profile Cushion is the 4.25 inch skin-protection air cushion. The ROHO Hybrid Elite SR Cushion adds a foam base and optional Smart Check. The ROHO Hybrid Select Cushion adds ISOFLO and a 500 lb rating.

The Drive Balanced Aire is Drive's adjustable air cushion at 2 or 4 inches, rated 500 lbs. Foam such as the JAY Basic Cushion is for very low skin risk on sling upholstery. Air, foam, and gel are different jobs.

Funding help for a wheelchair cushion or back support in Ontario

This cushion or back support is an ADP positioning device category item. Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP) can fund 75% of the cost of positioning devices such as cushions and back supports when they are prescribed through an assessment by an ADP-registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist with an eligible mobility device, and some income-support programs cover the full cost. Not every product qualifies, so talk to us before you buy. March of Dimes Canada, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and community programs can also help. Westin's own team delivers and sets up this cushion across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. We bring it in, check the size on the chair, and show you how to set the air and the cover before we leave.

Same-day delivery is offered through our hospital bed rental service; purchased cushions are delivered and set up on a scheduled date.

Permobil manufacturer warranty

Permobil prints 12 months on the ROHO Mosaic cushion and 6 months on the cover. That is shorter than High Profile (24 months) or Hybrid Select (36 months). We handle the warranty claim with you. Ask us if an extended warranty is offered for your order.
